UPDATE:According to EW, JGL has indeed joined the cast of TDKR, but will not be portraying Alberto Falcone. ________________________________________________________________________________________________According to Showblitz, JGL will be playing Alberto Falcone. JGL has previously worked with Christopher Nolan on Inception. Your thoughts below, Ledgers!

I don't see what is the point of having Alberto Falcone there...
Bane and Catwoman have already been announced. Falcone will at best be third string.

NOOOOOOOOOO,i HATE jeph loeb and his characters.alberto's motivations in TLH were retarded and his death in DKV even more so.i was hoping for deadshot or black mask not a shrimp with daddy issues.if cotillard turns out to be sofia gigante/falcone then i'll perosnally not watch this movie.

That would only be true if they were adapting Long Halloween. Given that Bane is the main villain and Falcone is at least brain dead, if not actually dead, I don't see that happening. Most likely Alberto will be the new boss of what remains of Gotham's mafia, like Maroni was in the last movie.

Really? Yes really, Damian sucks. And Deadshot has no place in a Batman movie. And your petty threats are worthless You're right ,deadshot has no right to be in nolans lameass realistic world where bruce wayne has throat cancer and gets owned by dogs.likewise he is infintely more interesting and more dangerous than a skinny moron who was killed by his fat sister with a pillow and as for TLH it was... under mediocre. It didn't suck, but it was in no way a good, well-crafted story. It seems like the guy had a couple of good ideas and more of a vision than anything else, because the atmosphere of it is really the only thing that even manages to get out of this mess. The characters have pointless motivations, half of them don't really need to be in the story at all, but are just shoe-horned in anyway, weak interactions. The thing is very poorly plotted, with the mystery becoming an annoyance to the story, rather than an interest, there are several motifs that get repeated to the point of making you want to rip the 10th time Bruce whines about his parents of the damn page, and just like Miller in The Dark Knight Returns, Loeb really feels he "gets" Batman, but he in fact gets about 3-4 things of his character which he repeats and exaggerates to the point where Batman is a caricature of himself, rather than what we know and love. And no matter how much I think about it, I keep going back to how shitty the "mystery" part was executed. Just terrible. I really don't understand why this thing gets so much recognition, but then again, adding DKR to that, I guess they are mostly "grate" because of the impact they made at a time when Bats was using Shark Repeal-ant Spray and Robin would express "Holly designer shoes Batman!" a lot. But now? Now they are a terrible reflection of two writers that helped make their careers just because they actually had a few original ideas and the patience to actually make an extended Batman story. Which is no reason to fault them, but is more than enough reason to fault the readers who still gobble up these runs, like they still are the Holy Grail of Batmandom.

"Damian sucks" Word . However Deadshot in a Batman film could be decent if done well Which explains why damian was in DC most critically acclaimed and highest selling comic of 2010.also explains how his appearence did wonders for the batgirl series from a critical perspective, also why almost every writer wants to use him,or why they used him to increase sale for the teen titans.Yeah he's a jerk but he has moments where he shows innocence and insecurity .he' already appeared in an animated show this early on. Feel free to hate it's a fictional character after all but do after being more educated on the character. tony stark should be a bad character as well, but he is'nt.

Which explains why damian was in DC most critically acclaimed and highest selling comic of 2010. Sales and popularity are meaningless on whether a character sucks or not. Justin Bieber is popular, he sucks too. Feel free to hate it's a fictional character after all but do after being more educated on the character. Please, that's the "you don't like it because you don't understand, wa! wa!" defense. You haven't proven your point at all. If all you got is popularity and some writers liking him to prove he's a good character. Well, keep paddling cause you aren't out of the lake.

Or thats what I thought before seeing G.I. Joe... I thought he was hilarious there, he tried so hard. Not realizing that it was the kind of movie not to take yourself seriously...
