Exactly, the Joker can commit himself to any role he chooses so well that even seasoned heroes and cops can't even tell the difference. Heck, if you hooked him up to a lie detector and asked him who he was, he could say Oberon Sexton and the lie detector would say it was true. This is why Frank will never suspect him until it is too late. I could see the Joker becoming Frank's Gotham Microchip and then dropping the bomb on him both figuratively and literally.

He is not always in Arkham, just when he decides to be. Outside of Arkham, Batman generally has to wait till he decides to act to find him. The Joker can disappear when need be. Why do you have a problem with his Super Sanity? I think it makes him even more interesting. It allows him to completely commit to any role he has chosen. He is only as crazy as he chooses to be. It perfectly explains his ability to become Oberon Sexton, Loxias the Magician, and any other versions of himself. He only chose crazy because he knew that society and Batman will oblige the insane. Emperor Joker is one of the times I mentioned with the other being the Last Laugh. I have no problems with Emperor Joker, it shows just how much of his identity is wrapped up in the Batman. I did not say always. I said usually because it is true. Pretty much the only times Joker is not in Arkham, he is in the antagonist for whatever story he is featured in. I have a problem with the direction they took him in because it is stupid if you know even rudimentary stuff about mental disorders. I am no doctor or whatever but knowing the basics on some mental disorders plays into my profession and because of that, the Joker's direction is less and less appealing the more I hear about him. It would take less than 15 minutes for a writer to do some research and realize, what he is doing with Joker is lazy and inaccurate. I know comics are obviously not real but they could at least ground the non-powered characters in reality just a little bit.

He is only in Arkham when he chooses to be, he has shown multiple times that he can escape at the drop of a hat.
This is assuming that he has a mental disorder. Harley Quinzel once suggested that the Joker wasn't crazy, that he was perfectly sane. He used his ability to commit to any role to commit to being crazy. He can choose at any time to change his role to whatever it needs to be.
That would never happen InnerVenom.

We should judge the writer based on the quality of the story, this take on the joker(spanning from the issue linked going through RIP till batman and robin)is easily the best and is done to update him against batman. we've all seen much more unreasonale things than this TBH.

I do not care why Joker is at Arkham. I merely said that is where he spends most of his time. Joker is crazy. You even previously said he was. And I have no intentions of giving credit to the words of a crazy woman who is in love with Joker.

I cannot believe we are actually having a discussion on whether or not Joker has a severe mental disorder or not. This is in itself, insane.

I am not even touching on Cassandra. She is for all intents and purposes, a meta. Besides, I was under the impression you were going to give me something that was worse than the Joker's portrayal. Giving super human feats is not one of them.

Yes, for all intents and purposes the Joker is crazy. This is only because he chooses to be crazy. Think of him like a chameleon, he can change everything about his personality at any time. If he chooses to be crazy, for all intents and purposes he is crazy. If he chooses to be completely sane, then for all intents and purposes he is sane.
I realize that what Harley or Damian might say is suspect. Before the doctor's who were reading Harley's report on the Joker found out that it was written by Harley, they were completely ready to believe it. That is the thing about the Joker, you can never tell what is true and what is false. He is Schrodinger's cat personified.

I don't see the merit to that theory considering I don't believe we've ever seen a truly sane Joker.

I don't see the merit to that theory considering I don't believe we've ever seen a truly sane Joker. What's makes you think he's insane? his entire backgound is a cliche,he can be anything a writer wants him to be,that's why morrison created this supersanity concept to give some excuse/justification.
