The point of enterprise was to do a federation Origen story The point of ds9 was to take star trek in a new direction. It didn't take place on a starship and used a continuing storyline... Ron d moor of BSG worked on the show a lot The point of voyager was to take the show back to what TOS was.... But Janway's ass was so tit that she could never fill fill kirks shoes. |

Have you noticed that lately whenever a series back tracks and does a "prequel," the series/movie is horrible.
Cases in Point
Star Trek: Enterprise - Prequel series to Star Trek - horrible
Star Wars Episode 1 - Prequel movie to Star Wars - horrible
Wolverine - Prequel to X-Men series - horrible
(And yes, I meant lately since Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was a prequel as was good).
