This isn't really a battle, but I am going to come up with different situations between the two.
1)Who would be a better Green Lantern?
2)Who is better with the ladies?
3)Who is better at hiding who they really are?
4)Who has a better Origin story?
5)Who is you personal favorite?

When you say best, what do you mean by that?

Batman has strong will and seems quite imaginative, so with proper training he'd be a fine GL. For Hal, we already know that he's one of the best, but this is nigh impossible to call as we have sufficient substacial evidence for one party, but merely our imagination for the other. Hal has it on amount of feats alone.
Hal is pretty good, but in sheer numbers, I believe Bruce has him beat.
Bruce. Hal is a pilot, and a damn good one, but Wayne is a world renowned industrialist, and as such, he has to put up an entire show for almost everyone to prevent people from suspecting him. Hal doesn't get into such extremities(and doesn't have to, either).
Well, this boils down to personal taste. Batman's is definitely more iconic, but both provide as good a motive as any.
Bats.

1) Bruce isn't what a Green Lantern embodies. Out of all 7200 GL's non of them are anything like Bruce and that is for a reason.
2)Are you kidding? Hal is good with them and he doesn't have the money to entice them to bed. It's all his personality and looks. Not money.
3)Bruce has told so many more people who he is than almost anyone else.
4)Yeah, parents dying by being shot. Great story...
5)Halstomp.

1) Bruce isn't what a Green Lantern embodies. Out of all 7200 GL's non of them are anything like Bruce and that is for a reason. right and they keep failing, sucking and having their ass handed to them. Plus none of them have shown the will of Bruce. GL's enemies are lucky Bruce doesn't have a ring. 2)Are you kidding? Hal is good with them and he doesn't have the money to entice them to bed. It's all his personality and looks. Not money. Bruce has seduced the pants off of being that consider money irrelevant, seduced woman while being disguised as a bum. Has every lady who sees him fawning over him. This is an utter rapestomp. Saying that Hal is better then Bruce in the lady department is being deluded. 3)Bruce has told so many more people who he is than almost anyone else. And yet he's still managed to keep his identity secret from the world at large and only super-geniuses have figured it out by themselves, what does that tell you? 4)Yeah, parents dying by being shot. Great story... better then a dead alien giving a pilot a ring and he becomes a space cop. no.

That's just childish, if you ask me. What's childish? You making a post with which you reply to Crom directly, while this was not conceived as a debate, or directed at anyone in particular, just each user's personal opinion.
Most of the questions you provided cannot be substantiated absolutely, one way, or the other. So when someone who obviously favours Batman (such as Crom) and someone who obviously favours Hal (like you) try to duke it out for no good reason over something perfectly theoretical, it seems like a predestined impasse to me.

this is true, but Morph it's kind of a thing between us that we debate this forever and it leads nowhere.

When, other than in recent because of the PIS, have GLs gotten ther asses beat?
TONS have shown more will than Bruce!!
That is true about Bruce's enemies.
It's not deluded. Hal is what you would consider a "bad boy." Quantity isn't everything. He had a ridiculously long relationship with Carol and he did that not being afraid of what would happen to her because he isn't so selfrightious enough to say that "everyone will come after her" because he CAN protect her. If he was as good at hiding himself (which he isn't cause he tells the whole world who he is basically) he could settle down and be happy. If Hal can do it protecting a sector, why can't Bruce when he protects only Gotham?
Nothing in terms of the question. The only people that know who he was was Pieface and Carol.
Yeah, a space cop for an entire sector. Not a vigilante for one city.

LOL, OK. Apologies to Highball if I took it the wrong way, but I immediately saw him replying to you so I was surprised by it since the thread managed to turn into a debate in just 5 posts.

1) Tie. They're both kind of shown to be the same in terms of will, which is "pretty much impossible to beat". That being said Hal has more experience or some such nonsense with cosmic stuff and if it's so close that it comes down to "who adjusts quickest", whatever.
2) Bruce. He's got loads of money and looks. It's kind of hard to beat that in terms of "who scores most".
3) Uh, Bruce.
4) They're both pretty banal, but, I mean, that's because it's like the "Seinfeld is unfunny" trope. They're extremely iconic. From what I know, Bruce's origins continued (continue? I dunno? Haven't read Batman or GL in a while) to influence him, whereas Hal's was sort of just the initial push to him becoming a superhero. Whatever, tie.
5). Batman, though that's moreso because of all the extra stuff around him, such as Arkham Asylum (the game), the Nolan movies, Dark Knight Returns, the TAS, etc., than any actual affection to the core comic series or continuity. Though some of the "good stuff" I've read concerning Hal has been really damn good.

When, other than in recent because of the PIS, have GLs gotten ther asses beat? Nekron, the black lanterns, Sinestro Corps and more constantly best them. And let's not forget Hal's murdering of the lantern core.. TONS have shown more will than Bruce!! no none have. Bruce has survived and triumphed over things that would have driven all of the lanterns mad. There is no mortal with more will then Bruce in DC none. It doesn't matter how much Hal wanker Geoff Johns keeps saying it. Bruce has demonstrated it time and again. Hal is what you would consider a "bad boy." Quantity isn't everything. Good thing Bruce has both and with far more interesting intelligent and better women: Catwoman and Talia. he could settle down and be happy. If Hal can do it protecting a sector, why can't Bruce when he protects only Gotham? Bruce protects the entire world, he's even saved the universe. And he could settle down. He chooses not to because he knows his duty is to the world, regardless of his happyness. Yeah, a space cop for an entire sector. Not a vigilante for one city. Bruce is a hero to the entire planet and sees to the needs of that. he regularly is key in saving entire worlds and at sometimes, even reality itself. Hal can't compare to Bruce, he's not even the best GL.

And out of all those instances they came out on top, so I don't see your point? It's doesn't matter during, but who stands in the end
You don't know your Lanterns that well. In all of this, I am not saying has the most will, personally I think Either John or Kyle does, but there are so many other Lanterns who have experienced things Bruce never Will. John let an entire planet to exploded and he never completely lost it. Kyle found his girlfriend shoved in a fridge. All Lanterns fight in the cosmos. Bruce stays in a city.
Yeah, two villains. Good picking.
He may have but I'm curious. When has he ever saved the universe by himself?
When has he been the "key?"
[quote}Hal can't compare to Bruce, he's not even the best GL.
You know I know that Hal isn't the best. He used to be but not anymore and I am more than happy to admit that.
