@crom: I forgot to mention the best part. That same noob fanboy who tried to argue with Lordraiden that Magneto could defeat the Martian also claimed that Apocalypse is Marvel's Darkseid. XD
What's worse? He did it via pm instead of posting it in the thread.
That was one thing that always bothered me on the Vine. Noobs would pm me to death instead of just replying in the thread.

True, he isn't actually weak against magic either. He just doesn't have a special resistance to it. But that doesn't matter when planet destroying blasts are nothing to you even without a special, specific resistance to it and all he's using is his epic toughness. To really see while I had to mention this just search up the "Diamond Head vs Superman" the thread full of the most insane kryptonite bullshit I have ever seen. aah, I'm slowly retreating from the Vine actually. They aren't worth much of my time anymore. I think I'll just skip it. |

Misconception: Flash's only superhuman ability is super speed. (Then I would love to hear the explanation for stealing speed, giving speed, IMPs, intangibility, healing, accelerated thought processes/perceptions, kinetic energy absorption, inertia absorption, etc.)

Misconception: It is always viable to say somebody will use a speedblitz or semi plot-device attack right off the bat, despite what their consistant showings indicate.

I agree with your point, but to be fair, SuperMan actually has speed blitzed in comics before, just not enough times to where it would be viable for him to do so at the beginning of a battle where morals apply. You have no idea how many jackholes pulled out random metal poles.... and got their @sses handed to them. The lighter thing comes from Howard Mackie.  (Ironic, considering Mackie gave us some great Venom feats (immunity to Electro's voltage, for example))  |
