Misconception: Wolvereine's healing factor makes him unbeatable. (Right. Because nobody in all of Marvel continuity has ever beaten Logan. Ever......)

The sad thing about it is that I can think of several characters with much better healing factors than Wolverine's.

[ The sad thing about it is that I can think of several characters with much better healing factors than Wolverine. so true, even if you restrict it to street level and marvel exclusively. Not that wolverine isn't really tough for his power tier, but sheesh!

Misconception: Deathstroke is a deadpool rip-off.
This is untrue, Deathstroke was created first. He is nothing like Deadpool personality wise and only their costumes have some similarities... just like every 10 000 other 90's merc characters (Whom I'll point out Deathstroke isn't since he was created in the 80's)

Misconception: Being unkillable makes you unbeatable. (Deadpool, Lobo, and Thanos. These three are unbeatable. You could put them against TOAA and the Presence at the same time, and they would win. Seriously.)

Where do people get this nonsene?

Misconception: Being unkillable makes you unbeatable. unkillable as a power is a meaningless term when talking about reality warpers and high level magicians anyway. They can rewrite your powers to "unkillable except by every way I can think off" and even if they can't technically kill you because a higher power protects you (like TOAA preventing Thanos's true death), they can still get killed in a practical sense. Doctor Strange would have no trouble ripping out Thano's soul and sticking it into a cookie jar forever (meaning he's not technically dead)

Although, technically, Death is the reason Thanos is unkillable, but your point stands.

Seriously, Thanos is overrated. All his victories were nothing but PIS/WIS and idiotic plot devices to make a story possible.
I am still amazed people think that loser can take the mighty Darkseid

Misconception: Defeating a high end character automatically places you above their level. (This is what you call ABC logic. Magneto may have defeated Proteus, but he only did so because Proteus is an energy being comprised of electrons, which would make him very easy for Magneto to affect. This does not mean that Magneto can beat SuperMan.)

But the only reason he succeeds is because he finds out the ritual that is the entitie's weakness.

If the only reason a given character was able to hold their own or defeat a high end character was because of a weakness they exploited, prep, or some other circumstantial means, it proves very little about their ability to handle someone else.

Superman doesn't crumble like a bitch whenever a green rock is nearby.

To be fair, the instance I was referring to was on a thread where Magneto and Martian Manhunter were against one another, but your statement holds true and applies to the Martian also. Lordraiden and some other noob fanboy tried to claim that Mangeto could win because he beat Proteus. -_- This is why context is important.

Superman doesn't crumble like a bitch whenever a green rock is nearby. True, he isn't actually weak against magic either. He just doesn't have a special resistance to it. But that doesn't matter when planet destroying blasts are nothing to you even without a special, specific resistance to it and all he's using is his epic toughness.

To really see while I had to mention this just search up the "Diamond Head vs Superman" the thread full of the most insane kryptonite bullshit I have ever seen.
