Well I cannot say that is the wrong choice because I do love the way the all the story is knitting together so well.

I like the idea that they're given bada$$ weapons, but they do they all have to be hammers? A little variety might not have gone amiss.
Absorbing Man - He looks seriously awesome, but I can't help but wonder why he's agreed to be on Odin's team when his arch-enemy is Thor... Attuma - looks pretty cool Grey Gargoyle - looks like he belongs in Lord of the Rings. ....which is definitely a cool thing. Hulk - looks cool, but I wish he could have gotten a sword like he had in WWH, instead of a hammer Juggernaut - looks awesome. He really owns that hammer. Titania - really? She's on Odin's special fear-inspiring team? That girl got her a$$ handed to her by Spider-Man in Secret Wars and nobody has been scared of her since. Thing - looks really really awesome. But does this mean the Fantastic Four (or, ahem, Future Foundation) are getting another roster change? Or will Thing just be another guy who can somehow exist on multiple teams at once?

Uh, they aren't on Odin's team. It's a pretty Anti-Odin team, actually, considering they got their hammers from the main villain in the story line.

Thing already is on multiple teams at once. He accepted the New Avengers invite right?
Oh and Lance is right. The Worthy are the Serpent's minions.

Hmmm...what would Thing get out of opposing Odin?

Hmmm...what would Thing get out of opposing Odin? He probably is not in control of himself. If you had not read issue #1 of Fear Itself yet, I do not want to elaborate on it any further for fear of dropping a few spoilers.

"Your name is Ben Grimm." "There is no Ben Grimm. Only Zuul."

I rather know what I am walking into.

I'm still wondering why the heck Titania is there. This is supposed to be a team of people who are great at inspiring fear. I've never known Titania to be anything more than a jobber.

The hammers land randomly across the world and whoever is worthy picks them up. Apparently she's worthy. Its not like it seeks them out (at least, so far its not).

Ah, isn't that a tad...weak in terms of plot? I do not really think so. Serpent seems to specifically chose these people. Some would not follow him willingly. But there is also the fact that the spirits of the hammers have not been revealed yet. It is likely that they are sons and daughters of Serpent just like Sin's hammer though.

Also, just saying, I think having a weapon given to you by someone who is feared by Odin is a great way to inspire fear.. lol

Most of those guys can, and have already inspired fear. Titania is probably the weakest in that respect, but still.
And before anyone mentions it, yeah, an enraged Ben Grimm can be pretty scary.
