Proceed at your own risk. And of course discuss, since no one is going to resist sneaking a peek.

Was Medusa not allowed due to not possessing a penis?

No, but likely because she is so incompetent, she couldn't figure out she was banging a Skrull for about a year.
But Blackagar will be back in a couple of months, and I'm sure all of them will have no issue with him assuming his rightful place alongside them.

LMAO. You'd think she'd have known quite easily. All they could say was "He loves you".
BTW, which gem is Steve in possession of?

Oh, it's easier with BB, since he couldn't speak.
Time gem.

True. She should have known when he asked for coffee.
That could make for an interesting future storyline.

I enjoyed this development, truth be told. It shows Steve isn't afraid to take things to the extreme to do what is necessary to keep everyone safe.

He's awesome and all and a brilliant tactician, but I've never considered him to be among the super-elite geniuses in the Illuminati.

I haven't read Avengers #12 yet (it's sitting in front of me), but I find it ironic that Steve just chewed Tony out a couple of issues back about keeping the Illuminati a secret and now he's signing on for basically the same thing. Seems at least a a little hypocritical on his part, unless he realized and admitted to being wrong and out of line with Tony over this particular issue in Avengers #12.

So this confirms Thanos in the Avengers wasn't the real deal. Sad sad.

He's awesome and all and a brilliant tactician, but I've never considered him to be among the super-elite geniuses in the Illuminati. It's more of a status thing rather than the genius aspect. Doctor Strange is highly intelligent, as is Black Bolt, but neither is a "genius" in the true sense of the world. But their status as master of the mystic arts/ruler of the Inhumans is what makes him a valuable asset to the group. Likewise, isn't the head of SHIELD, the greatest intelligence agency in the entire world (Marvel's world) worthy of being in such an elite crew? Seems sensible.I don't really wish to spoil it, so we can discuss it once you read the issue. Yeah, it was
SPOILER
Doctor Strange using an illusion.

He's awesome and all and a brilliant tactician, but I've never considered him to be among the super-elite geniuses in the Illuminati. This. Not because he isn't smart (They have bloody Namor with them), but because it's all cloak and dagger, and not something Steve should be a part of.

Damn, I was hoping Steve would get reality. And erase Red Skulls abomination of a daughter out of it.

The guy is leading a group called Secret Avengers and he is the director of SHIELD, I'd say he's secretive enough at this point.

Damn, I was hoping Steve would get reality. And erase Red Skulls abomination of a daughter out of it. I'd rather them not having the gems. Becase having them and not using them during desparate situations (hell, during regular conditions, too - the Infinity Watch did it all the time) seems nigh retarded.

Yeah, I really kind of wonder why the LT doesn't just step in again and chuck those things in to a pocket dimension.

The LT is on a vacation at the Galapagos, and left explicit instructions not to be disturbed, didn't you hear? Because for a multiversal guardian, he certainly has a penchant for interfering in the most trivial occurances and not intervening during the life-ending crises.

Clearly, preserving cosmic balance is only important when Mephisto is stealing the souls of X-Men and shit and not in a crisis showing how inadequate the defenses of six of the most powerful objects in the universe are.

It was during Mephisto Vs. He stole the shit out of a bunch of seemingly random souls and fought the X-Men, the F4, and the Avengers. And wrapped Thor in Mystic Mylar.
