I thought of an idea in CBR's top 10.
You pick 10 writers, 5 comic characters from DC, Marvel and 5 from any other company totalling 15 characters.
If these characters and writers get 5 votes, as in people list 5 characters or writers, they go on the board. Then we all decided what story arcs that writer or character did well in, or would be a good read for that character or writer.

Grant Morrison only needs 1 more vote to get into the top writers. JMS and Alan Moore both have 3 votes the rest 2 or less.
In terms of comics characters it's 2 or less.
