Good list overall, but I think Crossbones should be low tier 7. Mandarin is pretty underrated as well IMO....... Otherwise, no complaints. The Mandarin isn't underrated.Rating him at all is probably partly the doing of the handbook because Marvel has alot of faith in his fighting skill but he barely has any feats.Most of what he's shown against Iron Man has been physical ability.Against someone with comparable physical power and a bit of skill there's no telling whether he would have a chance of winning or not. |

Elektra should be moved to a 5. She's mediorce and stalemates by black widow. It was pretty clear she wasn't even going all out in that fight. It was just to send a message to Natasha. Even then, she displayed a couple of impressive bullet-timing. Elektra has numerous feats that justify her getting the label as an elite fighter on Marvel Earth. She's top 5 IMO..... |

She's overrated and mediocre Bullseye beats her because she has an innate fear of him. By no means is he a better fighter than her. Her most recent showing against Lester didn't impress you? Because there aren't a whole lot of street-levelers in the MU who could replicate some of the things she did against him. Oh, yeah, and please post a scan of Lester using a sniper rifle. Because that certainly isn't usually part of his arsenal. Beating/fighting evenly against the likes of Wolverine, Silver Samurai, Shang Chi in H2H doesn't impress you? I'm pretty sure she's beaten Taskmaster as well. If you don't think she's a top 10 fighter on Marvel Earth, that's fine. But making the claim that she's mediocre is just blind hating. |

Problem is, Elektra has bullet-timing feats as it is and it's very rare (if ever) you see a sniper rifle being used effectively when two of the combatants are on the same rooftop. And her improvising, while paired with pure skill, is what made the performance impressive IMO. 2. Yeah, if you're referring to Enemy of the State. Logan was forced to fight off SHIELD soldiers before Elektra temporarily restrains him. He gets back up, heals from the paralysis the Sai's did, and goes up against Elektra 1-on-1. She schools and puts him down again. Logan has had a hell of a lot more high-end showings than low-end ones. I'm pretty sure he's also lost to Nick Fury in H2H, and I do know that Townshend Horgan one-shotted him when he was part of the X-Men. But it's all inconsistent with the character, to say the least. He's still arguably the premier fighter on Marvel Earth, regardless of how poorly portrayed he is at times. That has been shown time and time again. 3. I shouldn't have even brought it up. That was supposed to merely provide further emphasis as far as why Elektra is far from mediocre. Again, I have no problem with people ranking Elektra outside the top 10 in H2H on Marvel Earth. But when someone states that she's a mediocre fighter, I have to set them straight. Good debating with you again, my friend. ;D |

1) Agreed with this. 2) I would not say sh really schooled him. Elektra had her sais cut but then somehow she easily put them in nerve strike positions. If Logan was truly trying, considering his skills and reflexes, i would not really see that happening and so fast. I think Nick Fury humiliated him in a non canon fight. 3) I see. And i agree, Elektra is not mediocre. Good debate MW... |

Hey guy's. This thread was great for starting up the discussion of ranking.
However now that Creator has his grid's (specifically the fighting one) which will be ranking fighting skill on other levels (he's just asked for input on some characters rating WITH weapons) it would be nice to see the discussion over there. Not that I'm against this thread (lord knows I've had more than my 2cents to say) but the continuation of this seems to be stalling the Grid. Which would be a great shame after all the work our Ledger of the month (rightly deserved) has put in.
Not saying don't post here, just respectfully requesting that you all also contribute over there.
