Well they have some similarities I guess ... The way they kind of mix legend with scify... But on sg1 thor is a member of an alien race called the Asgard.... Who influned earths paste.... They come from a difrent galaxy that requires the 8th chevron on the stargaze to get to... Thor use holograms to project himself as a Viking like entity... He was on the humans side and protected them against another race who portrayed themselves as the egyption gods and enslaved humans to mine a power source on ore worlds.... In reality Thor looks more like an a typical little gray alien

Does anyone else notice how SG1's Thor has one crooked eye? Maybe that is why he is not on his home planet. His asymmetry must be disgusting to other Asgardians.

Wish I knew something about SG1 to join in the conversation... It's a big round circle thing that the airforce hooked some computers up to and dialed up other big circle things = stable wormhole. Airforce uses it to explore the universe, gain new allies and tech to fight off evil bad guys with snakes in their knecks and end up on perilous adventures such as this:

Well movie Loki has not shown the ability to teleport yet. He even used regular means of travel (for an Asgardian) to get to the other worlds. Maybe he just cannot or has not figured out how to do that yet.

I loved seeing the 'enchantment' was still active to pin Loki to the ground via unliftable hammer. Plus Odin > Loki in the 'magics'. Namely why he couldn't lift it earlier in the film.

Considering there like 10 seasons(or 11) your better off watching it online over television. 10 seasons of sg1, 5 seasons of Atlantis, and 2 of universe. For a grand total of 17 seasons plus a few direct to DVD movies and the original motion picture... Stargate came to an end just hours ago in fact

Good call. Okay so he can teleport. But we do not know if he has to cast a spell for that first. He may very well need to. If that is the case, getting out from under the hammer was not a matter of if, just when.

Lifting it and teleporting out from underneath it are two very different things. If he could teleport from under it, why couldn't he have teleport with it to Asgard? Maybe it has a built in anti loki teleport mechanism.
