This is crazy if this actually lasts. Aye, if it lasts. I'm reminded how Marvel went on and on how the Civil War would change everything four ever, and then spent the next five years erasing every clue of its existence. I predict a similar path for DC. |

It seems like DC gets a retcon pretty regularly. A Crisis arc every now and again does the same. I am pretty sure they are going to fuck it all up this time though. Superman seems to be what they are hinting at with the spaceship never crashing thing.
Not that I care too much. They already beat the hell out of Wonder Woman and Superman's stories have kind of sucked lately.
I wonder who will be erased though. My money is on Power Girl because she is from an alternate universe anyway. Or maybe she will be one of the few who are unchanged because she has survived her universes destruction already.
I would laugh if they re-retcon Wonder Woman just a few issues into her current retcon though.

I don't think so. The magnitude of this reboot sounds too massive to have any going back once it has started. The re-numbering of all DC titles back to #1 says it all I think. |

Well I was going to catch up on DC again, but it kind of seems pointless now. I might as well just keep up with whatever is started in September.

they will depower everyone down once again for some interesting stories that are basically re tellings of old adventures only to slowly repower everyone else back up.
the retcon will last a year or two before everything is fixed through a cosmic event giving everyone back their actual origin or more specifically their previous history that would be merged with the current character's retcon backstory.
They will erase all the supergirls as if they never existed...
the rocket crash landing could be superman, supergirl or some obscure alien hero that DCU has.

Seems to be the more logical route unless you don't care about continuity.
I just thought...how are they going to explain this whole reboot? Is it just going to...start? Or is it actually going to be the aftermath of Flashpoint or something.

Hawkman and Powergirl are so snarled precisely because they tried to repair their continuity over and over again. They just weren't very good at it. Superboy, whatever snarls he has are positively minor compared to other cases. |

Wonder Woman will be erased completely and Superman's ship will have flown into the sun by mistake. Batman will have stopped the robber in the alley as a child, thereby saving his family and grew up to be a political celebrity.
