Peter Jackson has made many films I like to watch. I think he's passionate, but very talented. Because you can't be all passion on no talent. Just look at Liefeld. Every time someone mentions his name, a nerdy child is jumped.

I find that annoying. We see a lot of that. The "higher ups" forcing their hand. He should have just said, go fuck yourselves.

If he'd done that we never would even have had Hellboy movies But really he's publicly said so, and Mignola Hellboy's creator pretty much says the same in his letters in the trades. You watch the movies and you distinctly see where Del Toro was allowed to add his touch and where some jackass in a suit was keeping him chained.
