IMDB Predator 2: 6.0 Gamer: 5.7 NUFF SAID ;D How Predator 2 got past a 5 is beyond me. Maybe the cool Alien skulls bumped it up a point? GOOD SIR THAT INSPIRED COUNTLESS NOVELS AND COMICS! ...Let's not talk about the movies, though

I am actually a pretty harsh movie critic so some will probably not agree with my .5 star ranting. No, I would say that that is a fairly accurate assessment.

I was VERY impressed with the Wolverine video game. It's brutal as hell, but I only played the demo... So I don't know if the novelty of the experience wears off or not.

I love the Fantastic 4 and Surfer but the only reason I watched both of these movies was for Jessica Alba. She was stunning in both.

So I don't know if the novelty of the experience wears off or not. i spent the entire game walking up to explosive objects to explode and watch Wolverine heal up. It's fun. It was cool to fight a sentinel.

I'll say it again, I didn't have a problem with the cast outside maybe Jessica Alba, although she did make some nice eye candy. Get a better script / director and you could have gotten better films out of them IMO.

I love the Fantastic 4 and Surfer but the only reason I watched both of these movies was for Jessica Alba. She was stunning in both. I think Alba is hot just like most guys but even that could not make me enjoy this film. In fact, the naked flame part pissed me off a tad because it was just cheap, unnecessary titillation.

A very solid movie in the robot/future genre, IMO.

This is a movie review so there will be a few spoilers. At first, I hated this movie because I was such a fan of the first one. The tone of the first one was much more on the serious side comparatively. However, I made myself watch the first and second movie over and over again while I was trapped in my snowed in home over Thanksgiving and Black Friday and decided that it was actually pretty good. First off, it had a much better villain fight than the first movie, although it was much shorter if we do not count the drones. The visual effects were stellar and no one is doing to be able to deny that the Mark V suitcase armor was anything but complete awesomeness. Scarlett Johansson actually did a really good job as Black Widow. I was pleased to find out that she learned the actual martial arts style that she was performing in her fight scene in the movie. She was very convincing and of course, sexy as hell. We got to see 3 different armors in this movie for Tony as well. The Mark IV, V and VI. We also got to see War Machine which I felt was handled pretty well. Don was able to pull off Rhodes without trouble. I dare say he did better than Terrence Howard. I still get taken out of the movie when watching both back to back though just because Rhodes seems to get on the Atkins diet between movies but it is a small thing and as I said, Don does a better performance. Gwyneth Paltrow is just as good the second time around. There were a few things that I disliked with her scenes, namely her bickering with Tony. It just seemed overdone is all. Their squabbles seemed less squabblely in the first movie. I liked their relationship, I just wish it was a little less extreme. Mikey did a good job though I do not think he was as great as some say. I could really have done without the strange scream upon his father's death. It seemed like he was screaming but holding it back. It was just weird. Anyway, his own arc reactor creation was cool. The dirty, cheap and industrial version. I got a kick out of it but that is just because I love the whole engineering aspect of the two movies. I would say that the biggest gripe I used to have with the movie has been dissolved. I used to get pissed at the idea that Tony needed help figuring out the arc reactor problem. But I look at it differently now. Before, the idea that he needed help infuriated me but now I see it as he created in just a couple of days what his father only could theorize at. So for me it gets a pass. Especially since he was creating something completely new well after he already exhausted every option in the world. The only two existing problems I have (bickering thing aside) is how Tony's new armor was supposed to be so much more powerful yet he still had trouble with Ivan's second armor that was based on the older technology. Not only that but Ivan's was even less efficient than Tony's previous arc reactor. Then there was the fact that Ivan knew that palladium is lethal when sitting inside a human body but Tony never knew it when he made the first miniature arc reactor? Or that Tony could not effectively insulate his body from the negative effects. But they are now small issues. The movie is solid and the good far outweigh the few bad things. I give this an easy 8 out of 10 for what it is. Probably even a 9. Compared to all movies I have ever seen, I would say a 6 or 7.
