Here is the work in progress for the Kinetic Durability grid. I need to populate it with some more examples of comic book feats (that happen to have real life numbers). I'll try to add some stuff on for swords, axes and knives for the piercing attacks. Attachments:![](//storage.proboards.com/3225754/thumbnailer/MY1y_EeuRgAPM34_ttIE.jpg)

Is there going to be an agility grid?

To be honest, I'm not sure if we can easily do an agility grid because it is difficult to quantify agility feats. There is a reaction speed grid because you can quantify those feats but agility is different and far harder. If we did, it would be very subjective. What are your thoughts ?

I suppose that makes sense. I was just sort of looking forward to seeing it. I'm a big fan of unusually agile characters for some reason.

I won't dismiss the idea of an agility grid but I plan to do others first.

Looks good creator. A shame that known nuclear wields don't neatly fit into the scale as examples. For example the Hiroshima bomb as i recall was around 15 KT so the lower end of 23 and if I'm not mistaken the highest yield known is 50,000kt so the low end of 24.

Yeah, I know. I think I can change a few things but I want to ensure this has good links with the strength grid.

I was thinking about that as well and came to the same conclusion. Some would argue that Spider-Man would be at the top of human agility while others would say Captain America is and that Spider-Man is well above that.

Ok. I have some more examples of explosives, a few bits on bladed weapons and a slew of explosives. Is there anything you can suggest that could go on it ? Does it all work e.g. the level of Strength resistance (as per the Strength chart) ? If nothing remains and it looks ok, I will create a new thread for the grids population. At the moment I see that we we will need to quote 2 figures for every character - the first for blunt resistance. The second for piercing resistance. Some examples only for illurstration are Superman might be B26, P26. Wonder Woman might be B25, P7. Spiderman might be B4, P1. Luke Cage may be B6, P13. The Thing might be B16, P16. Nice. I know that Pre-52 Wonder Woman was just below Superman on Blunt impact but piercing impact was completely human.

Do we need to add any more detail to grid ?

No. I had no trouble understanding the ranges based on the examples given. Easy as pie.

Looks fine creator. I just compared the strength grid (which we might have to update, the last list was a few pages back with quite a bit of discussion after and some look a little wrong - e.g Black Bolt ) looks pretty damn good to me. Many on the strength levels in the strength grid slot neatly where they should (some don't but many of those have higher durability than strength based on feats IMO)

Good point Beatboks about the strength grid. It has a very strong tie in to this grid so I suggest we work on 3 grids at the same time, namely the new Kinectic Durability grid, the Strength grid and the Reaction Speed grid.
Eric, I have been thinking that we need to include scans for characters, for each of their characteristic and power feats. I don't think that we should put them in each thread other as it can cumbersome to search a thread for th right image. I propose that we use the respect threads to house these scans. Some of the threads already have some of the scans in so all well and good but we don't have a respect thread for every character we intend to rate on the grids. So this will also intentionally drive a lot of new respect threads. Thoughts on this so far ?
Then there is one other point to discuss. As shown in the reaction speed grid thread, there can be a lot of disagreement on how a feat is interpreted. I plan to write a brief overview of each feat I use in rating a character, along with the science/mathematics used to assess/interpret it. This I will write in the relevant power grid thread. Does that sound reasonable ?
