   Talk about the great Smash Bros. series here. I loved Smash 64 because of the h4x combos and crazy hitstuns. Every battle was pretty much a combo video. Captain Falcon and Fox were my mains in that. Melee is the best out of the three imo. The combos are fantastic, it introduced mindgaming, wavedashing/L-cancelling was used more competitively, and the KNEE OF JUSTICE! Mains were the God: Captain Falcon, Marth (way better than Roy overall and I loved him in the anime), and Fox/Falco (shines ftw). Then there's Brawl...or how some of the Smash Community like to call it: Bwarl. It was fun and the story was great but the gameplay sucked. The combos are almost non-existent, they took away wavedashing..it was just a mess from a competitive standpoint. Not to mention, the characters transitioning from Melee to Brawl seemed nerfed as hell, because of the game mechanic. Captain Falcon changed, that isn't the Falcon we know and love. The spacies (Fox/Falco) had a new metagame but they were decent, nowhere as good as they were in Melee. It was fun though, just too noob-friendly. Then there's Metaknight, who was almost banned in tourney-play for how broken he is. My mains were: Falcon, Marth, and Snake (my best character in Brawl and I'm a huge fan of MGS altogether). |

Brawl is fun for sure. Too noob-friendly. I hate play competitively on it and the Wifi was garbage.

Man, that's like the only game me an' my roommates play. I be rockin' on them bongos with that Donkey Kong man. Then when I'm all up for a lil' psychic action, I pull out that super N.E.S...S. Yeah, an' then I be all like, "Sit down, son!" when I'm throwin' 'dem turnips with Peach/Daisy. And then I get serious with Ike.
Yeah, good times. It's a lotta fun. Sometimes we be sittin' around the select screen tryin' t'come up with which comic character the fighters really are. Haven't thought of one for Ike yet, but everyone else I think we got covered.

Playing with items is fun. Anyone can win at that point, which is why I usually have them turned off.

Man, items or no items, moving stages or not, it's all good. I get annoyed when people blame the stage for a loss. They be like, "there's no way that shoulda happened!" And I say, "then why'd you let it?" And then it's on like Donkey Kong from there.

Nah, you crazy. It's like the ultimate diss. Spiking is fun, unless you mess up. Then it's funny.

Nah, stage spiking, where the stage manages to kill you, not when you spike someone.

Mario is my main man in every installment.
In Melee, I used Marth as my backup character.
In Brawl, it is Ike.

I'm a part of the Smash community (pretty much the elite gamers in Smash, mostly Melee, but I'm not at their level. I've beaten guys like Zelgadis, Gimpyfish and PC Chris in friendlies, if you know what that means...lol). Other than that, I quit Wifi on Brawl a while ago, due to the horrible reception. That and, I just don't play Brawl much anymore.
