I have thought about how to deal with Captain America actually. Most of what needs to be done with him is just cleaning up his history really. So many people have tried their hand at writing his flashbacks, that it has become convoluted. I would probably wipe away the mess and marry the two personalities of current Cap and classic Ultimate Cap.

I love the selfless, disciplined nature of 616 cap and the no-nonsense gruff 40s attitude of classic ultimate Cap. I would leave out current ultimate cap developments though. I'm not really into the implied racism.

Ultimate Cap is Racist now?Where on earth did that come from? It was implied racism and we have Aaron to thank for that.

I suppose racism is the wrong word. He displayed bigoted behavior against those that are not American.

So far I have really enjoyed it. I hate that they felt it necessary to kill my favorite Spider-Man to do it but since they did anyway, it has been fun. But again, Ultimate Spider-Man was my favorite so this obviously isn't as good to me. I do like that Spider Woman makes a few appearances though and the mini Spider-Men, was heart-wrenching and awesome.

I agree that it was a shame that the killed him off but the way it went down was so inspired i really cant complain.
Mayhaps i should add that to my reading list before i start budgeting

Gambit is another whose history is kind of blah. I guess I never knew his pre-X-Men history before researching it for the reboot. I said before that he is not really broken. That is not really true. To be more accurate, he is not currently broken. His origins are a mess.
For my reboot, I was thinking of thieves I really enjoy seeing. Movies like The Italian Job and the Ocean's movies. Extremely cunning thieves who never even carry weapons because they are just too good to ever need them. My Gambit also has a bit of Ethan Hunt sprinkled into the character. Aside from where he spent his early years, my Gambit's history is nothing like 616 Gambit.

That all in all was terrific. I love the idea that he would be more a thieving type person than his 616 self.Ethan Hunt would also add a nice touch to that. I notice that you also dropped all the thieves guild stuff.Personally i dont care for it very much and it didnt add anything to the character overall.
Question would Sinister still be keeping an eye on Gambit while hes with the Xmen? That would make for a great story when Essex finally reveals himself

Yeah I thought the thieves guild thing was kind of lame, so I cut it. I liked the idea of him being raised by a thief, one of the best even, so I kept his adoptive father. But I mostly drew on the movies I mentioned for the thievery world.
Sinister is keeping a very close eye on Remy. In fact, he reveals himself to the X-Men for Remy, not Cyclops in my U.

Gambit is the love child of Scott Summers and Sinister? Oddly enough, I find that kinda cool.

Gambit is the love child of Scott Summers and Sinister? Oddly enough, I find that kinda cool. I wish I could say that was my idea but it belongs to Claremont from X-Men: The End. But I always thought Gambit was the third Summers brother ever since Sinister hinted that Scott had a third one way back in the early 90 s. Alas, the created Vulcan. This is a great alternative to bring the this brother.

Must say the Xavier one was significantly more detailed than some if the other bios. Will you still be sticking to the you die your dead thing? Charlie being dead and gone forever should make for an interesting twist.Im not sure if most of the history you wrote us necessary if he get killed off early.Ill have to wait and see how the bits about and child and all that pan out
I'm considering writing a bio for Clarice Ferguson AKA Blink. Its pretty tough to take bits from both universes and still make it coherent. Thus far I'm heavily considering going a bit more in depth about her being an Apocalypse descendant (I always thought that would have been cool in AoA but it never came to light)
