Introduction:
I need 8 contenders to compete in a single-elimination style tournament of badassery and tactical prowess.
Every year at a different location there is held a deadly competition that tests every once of will and ability that a man possesses. Winners are immortalized, their names passing down through history as the most ridiculously badass mofos to ever walk the Earth. Your own unique group of 5 violence loving ruffians has decided to enter themselves in this tournament, hoping to cement their status as the deadliest men alive.
The actual scenario for the tournament will be revealed AFTER teams are picked. For now all you know is that the style of the tournament is capture the flag. Each team will have a base where they will house their flag. You must make your way into enemy territory, capture their flag, and return to your own base to win. You only win if both flags are at your base. If you return with the enemy flag, but yours is gone you do not win until you get both flags to your base.
To make things more interesting if you die in enemy territory you will respawn back at your base, but if you die in your own territory you stay dead until the end of the match.
Rules for creating teams:
To create your team of five members you will select a template for each one. A template is a set of attributes, skills, and knowledge. You must also provide a name, call sign, and brief back story for each member of your team, as well as the team name. Here are some guidelines for selecting templates...
- The character must be from a live-action television show or movie. However they may be ANYONE from film or television who fits the other requirements.
- The character may NOT have any clearly superhuman powers or abilities. These would especially include any superhuman powers one is born with, granted through magic or other supernatural means, gained from any sort of experiment, or any technological aid.
-The character may have skills/abilities if they were gained through training, learning, or experience.
-Once someone is chosen they may not be used by anyone else. This is on a first come first serve basis.
-However characters that have multiple portrayals can be used more than once. For example if someone already picked James Bond (Craig) someone could still use James Bond (Connery).
-You only get one template per team member.
-Remember I retain the right to disqualify the use of any character as a template if I so choose. What I say goes and is final, don't argue.
The first 8 to respond will get to compete! All others will wait til next time.
I will judge the winners and losers of each match. I will take into account voting, but I issue the final verdict.
