Well, basically in a scenario like this, I'm happy to have her used to take down a bunch of Stormtroopers (probably in much the same way Starkiller did in that video), but I can't see her taking down a Sith Lord or anything.

I don't think she has a chance against Sith Lords either. I could see her take on a bunch of Stormtroopers easy. Depending on if we are using movie Stormtroopers or not, she might be unbeatable against them

Well, I'll probably try to give you guys a challenge, so I doubt Stormtroopers would be very useful since they seem to purposefully miss targets.

I can't remember who it was but someone said that the clones were very competent and that the 'new stormtroppers' were just random, untrained people that were drafted into service to fill shoes. Apparently, it explained why Obi could make such an outrageous statement about their accuracy on Tatooine.

ah guy's let's just remember that river has a showing of excelent marksmanship during the series. when Mal was taken by that millionare he changed the deal on with a fleeting look she took out four guys with a gun and one was by ricocheing a bullet at him. I wasn't planning on letting her get all close and personel tk a sith Lord. f&@ if it comes to that nomone on either of my teams is doing that. Dane's seen me play enough of thesenthings to know i much prefer back door tactics of stealth and hit and run when playing a scenario. If I get caught in a situaltion that needs me to fight she can but even though limited she has showings in marksmanship that put her only a few notches below ult Hawkeye or Bullseye. She is above Humtress IMO ( who shos nothing). Plus a pilot ( final scene serenity) and a TP sensitive who should sense an enemy coming. She's the one telling my team to get the hell out of there before we have to fight too hard.

Well yeah, pretty much. Some of the clones were absolutely incredible soldiers. Kal Skirata called the Null ARC Troopers "instant death on legs". They were trained by the best soldiers of the era, most of them Mandalorian. I used one of them as a template for my republic soldier over another Mandalorians in fact.
A lot of them, after the Clone Wars either fled and became Mandalorians, living on Mando homeworlds or became Stormtrooper commanders. The 501st for instance, Vader's personal battalion had a lot of former clone troopers and they were very good soldiers. Your average Stormie though was, as you say, drafted from the numerous worlds the Empire controlled. A lot of them had pretty basic training. Probably just boot camp and then shipped out.

Well, I'm willing to allow it.
I want to make things as open ended as possible, but I would strongly recommend having some contingencies for combat.

Agreed.
Beat: You said Dane should know that you like going in through the back door (... heh) but isn't that a bad thing? I would strongly advise having at least one guy that is not going to be instantly cut in half if backed up against a wall by a Sith.

Oh I plan to but combat doesn't have to mean close quarters all the time. Remeeber i'm a. Former rifle specialist . Items much more successful in combat to use steal th and range when you can and only fight when your choices are limited . i've studied about 9 martial arts and reached a black belt or higher in 5 I still wouldn't be all that great in close quarters fight compared to many of my old seas birdies. I could however hold my end up to get us utah of the shift so to speak. Having River with those marks man fears. As well as. Classic Star buck who could. Out draw and out shoot a machine that beat several humans at once plus Malwos also o a fast shot and accurate means I'm going. To be able to put a lot of firrepower down with a lot of accuracy fast. once I add a. jedi type I should be golden.

Holy crap, this got a lot of stuff. Still can't make a team yet, still a busy weekend. Grand National in England. It also happens to be in our city. It's the biggest horse race, I think, in Britain. I'm in work all weekend. :/
Will make one Sunday sometime.

All good SM. The first mission won't be out for a little bit yet, but like all the scenarios, you can complete it at your own leisure.

I'm trying to think ofthe name of the Jedi my dids watch in the clone wars cartoon with the lon skin flaps jnstead of hair ( at least thats what they look like). IIRC she's Anikins apprentice / padowin (?). as my fourth for my second team. Also i was thinking, since G'kar on my first team recieved enlightenment by " touching the universe" ( some extension of his latent tp). In this "merged Universe " can I have him as a force sensitive. likely without " formal training" just instinctive. This would mean he's sort of like some of the " ancient jedi" i've seen in comics years ago. not as focused as modern and self taught. no one that I have on that team is really up to dealing with Sith ( and will still struggle against higher ones quite a bit) but I want the character of him for the fun it's going to be to make that team dynamic work for me (or not)

One Force-sensitive only. Anakin's Padawan was Ahsoka Tano.

That's the one. that will be my 4th template for my second team. and yeah only G'kar character will be a force sensitive on team 1. I think that's reasonable to assume that that's how achieved enlightenment ( or as he sometimes called being one with the universe). Prior to achieving enlightenment he was a hardened warrior who would win at any cost. After he held all life dear ( even his enemies) and believed in serving the universe or the greater good. Pre G'kar would have happily killed any member of the sentari, post allowed himself to be captuered and tortured for months until a member of the Sentari helped him escape to enanle his people to heal. being in touch with the force seems like a pretty good reason for so massive a turn around
