I'd rather have a much more slick Venom design, to be honest. I dig the red eyes, but the musculature resembles Anti-Venom, and Gargan at his late stages far too much.

Flash is as good a guess as anyone else at this point. I mean, I could make a good story outta that. I guess Vin would be a good choice, too.

I take it back. Considering the solicits, it appears Venom will try to out-hero Spidey.... in that case, it could very well be Flash with a distorted mindset by the symbiote (Scott Washington was able to walk by symbiote, so why NOT Flash?)....
But I'd prefer a straight up revenge story with Vin as Venom. Five bucks says Spidey would call him "Vinom" as a horrible joke.

"In his own twisted way, Spider-man does protect the innocent!" (from "Lethal Protector"). So this evolution is a sort of call back, I suppose. Dude I'd looooveeee to write Spidey comics. |

Why must the probable new Venom be a Goblin fanboy? Why can't Venom be.... independent anymore? You'd think the symbiote would be like "Wait, wait, wait.... you want me... to take orders... from him? Fuck you! I'mma go kill Spider-man!" I truly miss the days when Venom was like that. That's what made Brock the best. Gargan is just a pansy-a$$ chump. |

Spider-Man should get his "Other" powers back. I don't know about the Other powers, but I would pay out the nose to see him get the Iron Spider suit back. That thing was motherflarking through-the-roof awesome. |

I didn't even read the story I only remember those powers from Civil War and before OMD.It just seemed like he was more powerful at that point.He didn't seem to make so many stupid moves in combat either. |

The Other was a good story. I didn't mind Morlun coming back out of nowhere since he was a fine villain, the best Spider-Man has had since Venom and Carnage first appeared, and without argument one of the most character-defining (and succesful).
I'd want him to get his additional powers back, too. He did not use the stingers, or night vision nearly as much, but that's pretty easily explained - Civil War hit in, he got the Iron Spider armor, then came Back in Black, and immediately we got OMD/BND. It's not like there was time for exploration of the new possibilities the Other opened.
