That's good to know. Well, killing Aunt May it wouldn't make me happy but i don't really have any problem with that. =] She's simply been around too long. Frankly it's not making sense anymore. LOL, Fair enough...

LOL.
Did you like the Urich development? It is the only thing that bothered me in the first 2 issues of Big Time.

I'd like more fleshing out for his reasoning, but I sort of get it - he apparently feels down on his luck and then having Kingsley jump him led to self defense... or something. I don't care. The story is so great.

LOL, No one can out-hero a character who is on par with Steve Rogers in that category...XD quote] Steve would never sell his wife to Satan. And he has more results without having all those insane power upgrade. ;D Steve is a better hero then Spider-Man ever will. I also support of both the Other Powers and the Iron Suit...

MJ was the one who made the deal in the first place, so Pete is not the only responsible for that...... He was ready to do it, that makes him less of hero then Steve by miles. And just because two people agree to do something reprehensible doesn't lessen how reprehensible it is. He made a deal with the devil and it's canon. Ergo he can never be as great a hero as Steve Rogers.

Also, spider-man has proven himself multiple times in his career to be one of the greatest heroes. One wrong moment is not enough to change that. =]

And.....how do you know that Steve would never do it. Has he ever been in the exact same situation and he refused to do it? He lost a lot more and a lot more times and never, ever wavered in his ideals. He's been tempted with power time and again. And he refused because the it wasn't ethical. You can't even argue otherwise, read his comics. Steve is Marvel's purest and bravest hero. Also, spider-man has proven himself multiple times in his career to be one of the greatest heroes. One wrong moment is not enough to change that. =] Dude, he was O.K with Marvel's Satan rewriting reality just because his million year old worn out aunt, THAT WAS O.K WITH DYING, was shot. Saying he is equal to Steve in character is laughably ridiculous.

OK, you do realize that Peter had his aunt dying because of HIM..... That affected a lot the way that he thought and even he stated that. Also having that in his mind and at the same time having his WIFE trying to convince him to accept the deal( she was the one who was OK with Marvel's satan at the first place ) and what did you expect to happen? Also, even you have stated in another thread that this was out of Peter's character. Now you are trying to use that event to say that this is Peter's character? ...Strange..=P

OK, you do realize that Peter had his aunt dying because of HIM..... It doesn't matter why he did it. He still allowed the marvel Satan to rewrite reality. There is no excuse for that, ever. Also having that in his mind and at the same time having his WIFE trying to convince him to accept the deal( she was the one who was OK with Marvel's satan at the first place ) and what did you expect to happen? I expected Peter to not make a deal with the devil, because it's THE FUCKING DEVIL! That is all. Also, even you have stated in another thread that this was out of Peter's character. Now you are trying to use that event to say that this is Peter's character? ...Strange..=P I started arguing this just to tease you, just so you know. But this may lead to an interesting debate so I will give a logical, thought out answer: The problem being, that when it happened and how it was done was out of character. However, it is still canon, and after that with further storylines like BND and after, Marvel is sticking to it's guns on how it happened, that it is canon and developing on it with current events. Therefore no matter how much of a WTF moment it was when it happened, or how bad it made other characters loo without it making sense (Doctor Strange being unable to heal a bullet wound, FUCK YOU QUESADA!!!). They are sticking to it and building on it as happening like it did. Therefore the only conclusion is that as bad and out of character it appears (and still appears) according to Marvel and further reinforced by events that followed, it is something Peter would do if he was pushed enough. Ergo, barring Retcon. Peter can never, ever be as good a hero as Steve.

Peter never did a deal with Mephisto in this timeline. Courtesy of OMIT.
I don't care about the debate, but just so you guys know.

Morph: We know.....
Crom: I'm really not in the mood to debate. I already have a debate with nexus and vance in one thread and that's enough for me.
But as Morph has already stated, Peter never made a deal with satan. That deal as you know rewrite the reality, so it was like it never happened. =]

But as Morph has already stated, Peter never made a deal with satan. That deal as you know rewrite the reality, so it was like it never happened. =] No, that's not how blame works, because Mephisto knows it happened. And we know it happened, and an in-universe plot use of power will not wipe that stain. All it means is that Peter doesn't know he did it. The only way to clean him is an out of universe rewrite with editors and writers all presenting a unified front and saying. "It never happened". Rewriting the reality doesn't absolve you of what you did because reality was rewritten because of what you did, and what you did was make a deal with the devil.
