When he fought World War Hulk, the flame ceased to burn for a little while when he seemed to beaten. Then he pretty much blew up a city block in his anger. Yikes. Alright, sounds cool. @caine- Was there anything in particular you didn't like about it? I'm with you about the first issues sometimes since they need to set up the start of a whole series. But IMO, this one was very fun and action packed, and has the beginnings of what could be an interesting plot involving Atlanteans.

No there wasn't anything in particular aside from the art that I didn't really like.Let's just say the issue didn't get me that excited. They need an artist change immediately though.

Moon Knight was so epic. I love how he's keeping his carbonadium armor and still maintaining his Marc Spector persona.

@caine- Really? I thought the art was good and I liked it. Except for a couple weird faces and lips, like Misty's.
@venom- Agreed. MK totally made up for no Danny Rand =)

@caine- I'm sure he will be in Heroes For Hire as somewhat a regular, but DnA already said the line up will be pretty fluid depending on the missions, skill set, and who is for hire on that particular night. He also has this Iron Fist and Power Man mini series coming out in February. There are also 5 'top secret projects' coming up with Marvel's 'Marvel Architects' writing them. One of these may or may not have anything to do with Iron Fist. It seems like they might be street level though judging by the writers' current titles. Danny needs to be appearing in a starring/co-starring role every month though IMO.

@ ckai - Good looking out on that.
I wonder what the project Fraction will helm is going to be.

I want Colleen in this and I want them to end this "rebellious" nonsense. Her and Misty should be friends for ever like Danny & Cage. That nonsense they did with her in Shadowland was lame.

Yeah I'm interested in that one as well. Actually, I'm wondering what they will all be.
It's also interesting to find out who Marvel considers their top writers though (Bendis was an obvious one, but lack of DnA-maybe its for mostly street level characters-). What do you think about that?

What do you think about that? Age of X is also an upcoming even by Mike Carey, who should also be among Marvel's top writers, but they did not mention him. DnA probably were not mentioned because their upcoming projects may not register as being "important" enough. Likewise for Greg Pak.

@olorin- I should probably clear up that what I meant by street level was non-cosmic titles. Marvel does have some other great writers but you are probably right about "importance." Since that is what the article stressed anyways. Importance/impact on the MU.
@caine- Bendis has good or great stuff and also some bad stuff. I'm not very familiar with his Eisner Award winning work but I hear it is great. Some of his recent stuff like Siege was poor though.

@caine- This is what I hear. But I have only been into comics seriously for less than a year so I have not had enough time to read a lot of stuff.

I have to say the second issue was quite a step up from the first one but I'm wondering if this rotating cast they are holding is really going to work in the long term; it's good when the characters work well in the story, but it feels like I'm going to be rereading this series several times.

I hear what you mean. Although, a 'team' was mentioned in this issue. I think they said it was secretly forming or something and nobody really knew. Also, they might have to form a team to go take down Puppet Master when they figure out what's going on, or, maybe it will just be Paladin, who knows. This issue was pretty good. I'm still waiting for Iron Fist to show up and kick some ass. Wouldn't mind seeing the Punisher make an appearance either.
