As far as series go, I loved Ultimate Spider-Man and the Ultimates. But I never really got into Ultimate X-Men. Fantastic Four was actually pretty fun as well. As far as individual characters go, I only liked the list above. When considering the series, it is a little different. I was referring to individual characters rather than series.
As far as series go, Ultimate Spider-Man, and the Ultimates are among my most favourite comics ever.
I have only read bits and pieces of Ultimate F4, but I liked Ultimate X-Men for the greatest part.We will just have to agree to have different opinions on Ultimate X-Men. I did not think it was a bad series. It just did not appeal to me.

I didn't like Ultimate X-Men because it had the bad habit of raping my favorite characters. Mostly Nightcrawler.

I liked Ultimate Spiderman more then regular spiderman, there I said it. Obviously. Actually, even if 616 spider-man becomes the worst version if him, he will still be my favorite because he was the one i loved as a child. I have a problem. I just can not hate things that i loved as a child no matter how bad they can be. Except if we are talking about food....

I like what 616 spider-man is supposed to be, not what Marvel has made him.

Erik-El: I know. I was just saying that no matter how bad 616 spidey can become, he will always be my fave. Ultimate is spidey is very cool though. He is my second fave version of Pete. My third is the what if? one. And you know what version of what if i'm talking about. @crom: Apart from the OMD thing, Pete has not change at all. He is still fighting for the good of people, uses his powers responsibly etc.... Only OMD show something that no one could expect from Pete. =]

Is this bad at all. IIRC he slept with Cat only once and at the time when he didn't have a GF. He also get drunk once too. And getting drunk is not that bad at all. Also, in ASM #648, Felicia, with her own sexy/hot way, tried to et a position in Avengers with spidey's help. But spidey refused to do it and he went away, having in his mind his relationship with Carlie. Added to all these, in the same issue, he had a monologue about his morals, his powers that must be used responsibly and that he won't let his people down. This is what everyone expects from spidey, right? =]

Spidey had a "Friends with benefits" relationship with Black Cat. They just slept together ONCE ... them together in bed was on panel, afterward. The rest was implied heavily. Very heavily.
And the getting drunk thing was a mistake on his part, it happens.
I love how a critique of Spidey post-OMD is him not acting "right", when he's just a regular guy who makes mistakes like everyone else. LOL.

Yes it is, Peter is a 30 something grown man always portrayed as someone with a great sense of responsibility. Not a 16 year old dumb teenager frat boy. He also get drunk once too. And getting drunk is not that bad at all. It is when it's character derailment. Also, in ASM #648, Felicia, with her own sexy/hot way, tried to et a position in Avengers with spidey's help. But spidey refused to do it and he went away, having in his mind his relationship with Carlie Who the fuck cares at this point, it's just the writers trying to redeem him. Should of thought of that before they wrote that crap. Added to all these, in the same issue, he had a monologue about his morals, his powers that must be used responsibly and that he won't let his people down. This is what everyone expects from spidey, right? No, I expect Spiderman to act like the grown mature man he has become not like a dumb teenager. The Other up to just the early point of the civil war arc is where he's supposed to be know as to his character.

@crom:
It would be bad if this happened constantly. Not just because it happed once. It does not show immaturity for a mistake that only happened once in his life and that does not make him irresponsible at all.
Everyone cares. Spidey slept with Cat, only ONCE at the time when he didn't have a girlfriend. The cat comes again when Pete was with Carlie but her refuses to be close to her. That shows the responsibility that you were looking for. They didn't wrote anything crap about Pete apart from OMD.
And he acts like a mature man by saving the city from a bomb that it could destroy whole of it. He acts like a mature man by having these thoughts that i stated before, of his morals, powers, friends etc.... He won't let them down as he said. It shows responsibility. By sleeping with a woman, only once, at them time when he didn't have a GF, it does not show irresponsibility. It shows that like everyman, he needed to do it. =]

Well, I don't buy that, the way it was executed was not only terrible and to me character derailment because Peter is better then that but also just... weird.
That having sex with their masks on was just bad writing. And that's coming from someone you know has nothing against portrayals of sex.

How can't you, it makes no sense with how far their relationship has gone and it was just plain out of character for Peter.
Spiderman hasn't been the same since the Other.

He didn't have an actual relationship with Cat. And many people at the time wanted to know his identity like the Avengers and Fantastic Four. After a big talk that he had with them, he was convinced to show them his identity. So i'm not surprised that he didn't put off his mask while he had sex with Felicia. Especially when they didn't have a real relationship. =]

Being allies, friends etc... it's not the same with having sex. Spidey had trouble showing his identity at his Fantastic friends or his Avenger friends. They needed to talk to him a lot in order to convince him. Not showing his identity to cat is not that bad. But as i said, i respect your opinion. =]
