Are there any particular villains or supporting characters you hope they will include? What do you think they will have to do for it to live up to The Dark Knight? I, personally, am hoping the villain they introduce will be Bane. He's not overly "gimmicky" like many of Batman's other enemies, and I think it will add a new and interesting element to the movie for Bruce to square off with an enemy who can't just match him mentally, but overpower him physically. If the plot could also include Bane reducing Batman's identity and setting up the whole " real the bat" scenario, that would be awesome. What ideas do you have for the movie?

Having Bane would be awesome, but I view him as unlikely. After all, this is Nolan's last installment on the franchise, and I have a feeling Bane would require more time. We'll likely see a Riddler/Catwoman type plot, IMHO.
As I've expressed at comicvine, I think Black Mask & Deadshot would work well, but I really, really, really doubt that will happen.

I'm not fretting, I'm just stating my opinion.
As to why, because neither are legacy rogues with the history or importance as the original ones. They aren't bad characters, but they have no place in a film. Not when Penguin, Riddler, Talia, Catwoman, Bane. Much more important characters haven't.

If that was indeed the reveal for Batman 3, you might. Thus, my remark. Point being you can scorn the idea and remain satisfied that it is very unlikely.
As for your reasoning, why must the selected character be a "legacy rogue?" Black Mask is logical due to the conclusion of TDK, and I thought Deadshot would work due to him naturally being a gun for hire.
Catwoman and Riddler are the likely candidates, but I can't help but feel like we've seen enough of them, and the audience should get a new character. (Like BB did with Ras) And as I said with Bane, I think he could work, but I believe he'd require more than one movie to be given proper justice. It would be nice for Nolan to use a character previously not involved in the former franchise, but my hopes aren't high for that. Regardless, I have a lot of faith in Nolan and feel regardless of who the villain(s) is, he'll do it well.

If that was indeed the reveal for Batman 3, you might. no, I'd still be the first one in line at the cinema to go see it. Because Nolan's work is awesome. I don't one them as the next villains. But I know that Nolan could pull it off. I have a lot of faith in Nolan and feel regardless of who the villain(s) is, he'll do it well. So do I As for your reasoning, why must the selected character be a "legacy rogue?" Because it's back to roots reimagining, you have to start with the base and more important elements. Plus Riddler and Catwoman have only appeared in a single movie each and neither was threated any close to well. Same thing with Penguin, so they deserve a spot a lot before Deadshot ever get even close to appearing in a movie. I'd actually like it if Ras returned, what with that whole immortality thing... And as I said with Bane, I think he could work, but I believe he'd require more than one movie to be given proper justice. I always fought the knightfall saga would make a great series of movies.

"no, I'd still be the first one in line at the cinema to go see it. Because Nolan's work is awesome. I don't one them as the next villains. But I know that Nolan could pull it off." I have no doubt you would be. "Because it's back to roots reimagining, you have to start with the base and more important elements. " It's tough to accomplish such, because movies only have an hour or so to establish a character, where-as comics have issues upon issues to build upon these relationships. Movies tend to (key word: tend) include the best story arcs involving said villains, and I just don't enjoy the Riddler that much, TBH. Also, I can't help but feel like the style will be too similar to Joker's plots in the previous movie (but again, Nolan is a goddamn genius so he can pull it off). "Plus Riddler and Catwoman have only appeared in a single movie each and neither was threated any close to well. Same thing with Penguin" As I've said, it's more-so a personal opinion. I'm sure you'll get them for the third movie. As for Penguin, he's never appealed to me, either. "so they deserve a spot a lot before Deadshot ever get even close to appearing in a movie." He would hardly be the primary villain or foe. Merely a secondary character. I wonder if we'll see Zsaz, since he was released in the first film. "I'd actually like it if Ras returned, what with that whole immortality thing..." It would be a different actor, of course. Nolan took the immortality element and just applied it to the name, and various individuals through time took the role. I don't believe we'll see that applied again, especially since it appeared that Wayne shut down their organization (well, what was left of it, anyway). "I always fought the knightfall saga would make a great series of movies." It would be, but as we know Nolan only has 1 film to work with now.

Catwoman and Riddler were both in the old Batman show, also they were in a shit ton of cartoon together.
With Riddler out of the running, I'm backing someone like Mr.Freeze(a sympathetic villain would contrast Joker, and yes I know Harvey did that but shut up and eat your cereal.)

My villains
Catwoman Poison Ivy Riddler Mad Hatter Bane
I would be satisfied if it were any of them.
Mr. Freeze wouldn't be bad either.

I am totally cool with him merging villains. It's always nice to see a new take on a character and as a fan of alternate reality stories I'm all for seeing cool mixes of characters.

I really hope Mad Hatter and Ivy are not in it. I just can't see them working well in Nolan-verse Batman.

Mad Hatter actually could be awesome if they showed him as the Arkham asylum Hatter.

I'm baffled by you saying no to Deadshot, but wanting the Penguin that cause you don't know how awesome the Penguin is because you read too much marvel and not are reading secret six where Floyd is made out to look good

The majority of my Deadshot reading was pre-Gail's Secret Six. Same with Bane (obviously).
Name one potential good plot with the Penguin.
