The new video is... interesting.
It looks strange to see Spider-Man running after a target. Web-swinging just looks so much more natural.
And the costume looks like just that: a costume. He doesn't really look like a superhero. He looks like a random guy running around in a Spider-Man suit.
The flip at the end was fairly impressive though.

While I would prefer webslinging, this may be his first crime fighting experience. We need to see that 25 seconds in context with the other 100+ minutes.

@nexus- Correct me if I'm wrong, but Peter starts out poor. It is more believable that his first suit would look just like that, a guy in a low grade suit, not a super high tech advanced suit that obviously requires a good deal of money, equipment, and resources. That may be the intention, but if not, it could just be that it will be touched up in post-prod. Or, you just might need to see some more close up looks, which I updated the OP with a link to. New Spider-Man is wearing latex armor. |
