I said more believable than the previous one, not completely believable lol lol I think the previous one was more believable. At least it was made out of some fabric. New Spider-Man is wearing latex armor. lol Well most likely in RL his costume would look like that anyway. Plus it may look different in the movie if they apply some kind of special effects on it.

How would it look like that in real life?
Can you make something like that at home with nothing more than your allowance? If so, I want one.

If they're smart Spider-Man will get his first costume from the wrestling people.

If they're smart Spider-Man will get his first costume from the wrestling people. True, he might get his costume from them and change it a bit.

If they're smart Spider-Man will get his first costume from the wrestling people. That will be the only way I will accept his new costume in all honesty. But it still seems of a lot higher quality than anything I ever saw on WWE.

Wait, is Mary Jane even going to appear in the film?

Wait, is Mary Jane even going to appear in the film? Only to sew up his costume for him (because all girls love sewing). jk As far as I know, she's not appearing. Just Gwen is. Ya know, for a high school nerd, Peter was a serious pimp. He's had more girls as girlfriends than most nerds can get as friend friends.

What many of you fail to remember is that Pete is a chemical genius who invents and produces vast quantities of webbing and web shooters on his allowance. Perhaps, Pete simply makes a latex-like substance using his chemistry skills and finds a way to mold it. Heck, he could have melted down basketballs and used them to make it.

This is the best way to make a costume, clearly.

Was that sarcasm? Or were you supporting the idea?

It is sometimes difficult to tell with how sarcastic this place can get.
With a mold and some home made latex, he could simply replace whole sections of his costume if they get damaged easily. His mask would likely need to be a different material though so he can breath and see adequately but he is a smart guy so he would figure that out.

I think I'm going to wait for an actual trailer before I make any judgement. Pictures are a bit of a let down, but it's kind of like the studio is just dolling out photos so that the fans stay interested.

This would be completely reasonable if he was trying to make the most uncomfortable and least functional costume around. Not sure if you know what latex is like when it is thicker but it does not really move as easily. Hell even basketball armor would not be very functional. I guess being a genius does have its disadvantage of needing to make everything as hard as possible. But seriously, why would Parker realistically pull out his chemistry and costume molding set when he could just make some tights out of readily available material?

Seriously? WTF is this supposed to be? Red eye lenses, bulky web shooters, and are those slippers or something??

Pretty sure those red lenses are just for stunt double purposes. Why? I don't know, but other set pictures have shown the suit with the regular white eyes.
Yeah...Idk about those slippers as well. They could be similar to the fake feet that Chris Evans was wearing as Steve Rogers during a scene where he was being filmed running down a street bare foot. This is to protect the actor's feet from injuries, and will be CGI'd with later if needed. The 'slippers' could be something similar.

The colors in that picture are way brighter than they will likely appear in the movie.
In the other pictures on the site, the lenses are white. They may be replaced in post production to look like they should.
Bulky Webshooters makes sense in the beginning. Paste Pot Pete started with Glue Guns then moved to Wrist Pumps and then finally the Gauntlets. It is logical that his first webshooters would be made bulkier.
Slippers? WTH? I don't have a reason for those. Maybe those are just traction slippers meant to allow the actor the ability to run more quickly?
We need to see a full post-production picture in order to adequately judge it.
