New one, compliments of the morons on the Vine. Misconception: Wolverine can kill Supergirl because, apparently, he scratched Clark in a crossover. (.....Do I really need to say anything about this?) *Was reading through thread and finds this gem* I'm so tempted to post Venom nearly murdering Superman, but I won't, because I'll surely be banned for referencing such an atrocity (even as a joke).

I love how they justify him withstanding strikes from Superman by using the horribly written fight with Juggernaut. Oh, misconception: A lighter and a newspaper is enough to scare away Venom. Thanks for that gem, Peter Parker: Spider-Man

Thanks for that gem, Peter Parker: Spider-Man I read an explanation on some site that being in the DCU amplified the symbiote's power level..... We went over this already in the thread, wayyyyy back.

Misconception: "X-men" is the name of a rock band, not a long running comic franchise.
Not. Even. Kidding.

Misconception: Iceman is basically invincible now, despite the fact that he has very few feats that actually live up to his Omega potential.

I think that you are right but the misconception is only a half truth. He seems to only be hurt when the writer wants him to be. Other times, nothing even phases him.

Iceman is only hurt when he thinks he is hurt. Bobby is terribly open to suggestion. On M-day, Bobby saw everyone else losing their powers and he suddenly thought he lost his own powers. If you put a hat on his head and convinced him he was Frosty he would start making kids laugh and play and sing all day.
