Who are some of your Favorite Characters ? Which Starship did you like the most ? What didnt you like about Star Trek ? Please Discuss Favorite series? Star Trek: The Next Generation. Picard (Patrick Stewart dare I say?!) was just too epic. Not to mention that series was just a work of art for me to watch and build my morals around when I was younger. THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS! Worf, Data, Picard, Geordi, Riker, Kirk, Tuvok, the Doctor, Q! <3 em all. Ofcourse the Slick Enterprize E. It had a Captain's Yawt, futuristic beast on four wheels and the damn thing could run itself. What I didn't like? Janeway stepping all over the Prime Directive and wiping out a few alien races. Theres a reason they promoted her to Admiral and put her behind a desk, to prevent the damage that woman can cause behind the wheel of a ship. LOL (Just kidding Janeway I love you)

They bored me. The only good parts about that show were the Doctor and Seven of Nine (And not just because of her catsuit ).

My Favorite was Voyager ( I know I'm in the minority on this one). I liked the fact that the crew had a little more diversity. For me when you look at the crews of TOS and NG if you take away teh little quirks (e.g. Spocks logic, Scotty's accent, Worf's gruffness, Data's machnicism) you could have inter changed any character with another. They were all very similar with only one stand out trait that made them different. In DS9 we started to see the mold break a little, but by voyage it was thrown out. Here we had a crew that weren't by the book good "officers". In the first season alone there wasn't a single member of the command crew who didn't disobey Janeway's orders and it fitted with the character type. The crew could push the boundaries a little more. By mid way threw the third series they's become the stable band of loyal officers but there had been a progression to it. I never could stand how on NG the crew were undyingly loyal to a captain right from the moment they met him, it just never made sense to me. While the crew of Voyager grew to be a good one I got to like the characters. There just never seemed to be any character growth in TOS and NG and only a little in DS9.
But that's just me.

I LOVE TOS and Next Gen. Spock, McCoy and Data are my fave characters of all time. :3 I especially love the Star Trek: Generations movie! :3 Actually. Look how obsessed I was I actually met Brent Spiner(aka Data) at the Calgary Comic Expo earlier this year. :3 He was SO nice, and talked about the randomest crap ever YAY Star Trek! <3 Only TOS and Next Gen though, I never really go into Enterprise, DS9 or Voyager. Although I didnt mind the Doctor and Seven (woo for updating old topics)

Picard is the best Captain. Jane Way is the worst. I can agree with that. If Kirk wasn't such a player, Id like him the most though. xP But I didnt like Janeway at all.
