Deus Ex > Crysis
I get a Blade Runner vibe.

Deus Ex = all about the story, how you unravel the plot, and the different RPG elements. Crysis 2 = looks pretty and all about the action.

The options is a big thing that sets them apart, but I just get a lot of similar vibes from watching the gameplay.

Hmm, I wonder if we could use our custom-built Adam Jensen's in battle/scenario threads.

I really can't wait to make a detective/stealth operative/sniper sort of character. I want to dig up as much about the story as I can in my play through and if the game is as good as I think, perhaps make a guy who excels more at blowing things to tiny pieces in another play through.

I'm going to make a stealthy\non-lethal\smooth talker.

Hmm, I wonder if we could use our custom-built Adam Jensen's in battle/scenario threads. I'm certain we could, especially since there's a canon comic with feats. I definitely need to catch up on this comic, as well as the Crysis comic (FO FEATZ!)

Jensen is a straight up badass in the comics. I'd say his augmentations put him on par with most if not any street level character.

I've only read the first issue, but it definitely showcased that.
Not sure if you watched the livestream, but they said the game is at least 35 hours.

*ding* Thread idea. Video game bamfs (Alcatraz, Master Chief, Jensen) vs comic bamfs.
Of course we can't make this until we compile more scans for them, but it has the potential for coolness + 10.

I did see the livestream sir.
I think you'd need some heavy hitters from comics to match those 3. They have pretty incredible range in abilities.

Exactly why they'd be considered a team of comic bamfs, sir

Hmm, any idea who you'd put on team comics?

Comic bamfs tends to make me think of characters like Slade, Logan, etc.

Logan couldn't be taken down frankly. There is no one in video games who won't get eviscerated by his claws. As much of a brick Master Chief might be in the games, at the end of the day his armor is only titanium. Adamantium should go clean through.
