CBR predicts massive DC panning

So last week, CBR made a poll of all the titles for the reboot and asked its readers which titles the readers would get. Here are the results of 10,181 votes (myself included). I admit I am pretty shocked by the response. It seems that the first month DC will not be dong well at all. Hopefully they get the numbers back in the subsequent months or there will be a massive amount of titles that get shelved.

Referring to the massive numbers in the "not at all" category, I honestly can't say I saw it coming. Particularly because there is a staggering amount of readers that are completely unwilling to even try any book that is not Batman, Action Comics, GL, and Geoff Johns.

I am personally a little pleased that WW will do okay. Her title is kind of spread out on the votes, though her largest vote category is still the "not at all" one. :/

For some books this reboot is a really good thing. Bad writers have managed to run Justice League, formerly a flagship title right into the ground. For others it just makes no sense at all.

I mean Green Arrow? He isn't going to change one bit and his current story arc isn't even finished yet. It's a real lose-lose for the guys solo book.

I would have to say I'm really surprised Deathstroke's new solo title and mainstays like Teen Titans and Detective Comics got generally negative feedback.

The lack of interest in Deathstroke and Grifter is surprising. Red Hood, too, seeing as the animated film boosted his popularity a good deal.

Deathstroke doesn't have anything going for him in terms of creating team.

Deathstrokes costume looks like a mix between final fantasy and, well, something with a shit load of spikes. I thought about picking it up but I'm just not sure. Though there are a few people I know planning to pick up at least half the titles.

You know how much I love Deathstroke but he's more of a cult favourite rather than a character who is well known overall.


Then again, you could have Stroke sporting a pink suit and Geoff Johns writing and the definitely/very likely ratings would score over 50%.
