I think it was the Space Gem. Edit: Whoops, the blue gem is the Mind Gem. Infinity Gems

Why would it be an Infinity gem as opposed to a random glowing piece of magical jewelry? Do you know something I don't?

Why would it be an Infinity gem as opposed to a random glowing piece of magical jewelry? Might be, just a guess. I would imagine Loki has found a way to become more powerful for the Avengers if he is looking to take over the world. About his staff, nope.

Might be, just a guess. I would imagine Loki has found a way to become more powerful for the Avengers if he is looking to take over the world. considering the power level of the movie avengers, he wouldn't even need a boost to kick the crap out of everyone of them except Thor. Whom he still pretty much beat

He was already beat by Thor (who didn't even want to fight him). If Loki wants to be the undisputed ruler of earth, he is going to need to be very powerful.

He was already beat by Thor (who didn't even want to fight him) Considering the powers and gear he had. If he hadn't fought like a moron, he would have murdered Thor But of course, the hero has to win in American movies /pointless bitching about sub-par aspects of the movie.

Because a happy ending is such an over rated concept...

I've seen all of those movies. All except a few are good yes.
That said, Thor really suffered from the fact that Loki was superior everywhere it mattered to beat Thor, yet they played him a moron. Give him half more of brain and he could have been having a threesome with Frigg and Freya on top of Odin and Thor's mutilated corpses.

The Empire Strikes Back is kind of a cheat, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is bittersweet in its own way. Also, Heat ends with
SPOILER ALERT
De Niro's character getting shot by Pacino, so I can't see how he wins unless we include Kilmer's character into the equation.

I love how one of the guys listed the Dark Knight as a movie where the villain wins. Sure...

Because a happy ending is such an over rated concept... Nobody is saying it is. I like a good happy ending, I like a good non happy ending. Sometimes the good guy winning can be all too predictable or make it doesn't make sense in the context of the movie. Sometimes it is just played as the safe bet and cookie cutter mold for a lot of movies. I just like well made movies. Whether that means the good or bad guy wins is irrelevant, as long as it makes sense within the story, and doesn't hinder it's quality. If some of the movies that I linked to had an ending where the good guy won instead of the bad guy, they probably wouldn't be as good of movies. he could have been having a threesome with Frigg and Freya on top of Odin and Thor's mutilated corpses. Not so sure I would have wanted to see that.

I love how one of the guys listed the Dark Knight as a movie where the villain wins. Sure... The Joker won in a way. He tore down Gotham's White Knight.

Because a happy ending is such an over rated concept... It's not but I cannot respect a story where the hero wins for no justifiable reason. If you don't actually have what is necessary to win, you don't sucks to be you but only in magical pussy loser land does a person win because he really wants to and is the good guy.

Morph- Sure, some are a bit more gray than black and white in regards to good or bad guys winning, and some are left up to a bit more interpretation than others. But by no means are only those listed the only movies where the bad guy wins.
