It's kinda starting to look like Tarlok is Amon.
But, at the same time, it almost seems to obvious. There's no way he'll turn out to be Amon.
But maybe the writers expected us to think it's way too obvious, and he actually IS Amon!
I'm wrinkling my brain thinking about this.

I feel like a spoiler got leaked and somebody is passing it off as his own personal theory. All the detailed history about the Red Monsoons, Tarrlok's exact age and the exact time during which this trial took place, specifically mentioning "the mountains" as a place where Yakone fled after he was banished. It just seems a bit more detailed than what seems possible. |

I think Tarlok being Amon seems a bit too obvious. The story feels too well-crafted for that.

Its because he's a nob, Tarlok. I'd say he's on par with Amon anyway. He's the bender equivalent. So he should be treated the same.

Aang went into the Avatar State quite a few times before mastering all four elements. I think Korra just hasn't done it yet because she's not as attuned to the spiritual side of bending as Aang was. But if she's attuned enough that she can meditate on a message from Aang and see his memories, she might be able to go Avatar State just once this season. I don't hate Mako. TBH, I couldn't really care less about him. I just wish he'd make up his dang mind about which chick to date. Am I the only one who's really hoping for a grand appearance from Zuko soon? They've confirmed that he is still alive, but has retired from his role as Fire Lord. |

I always forgot about them. My mind went straight to the avatar state after mastering the elements.
I was kind of disappointed with Ang and his powers. I was hoping for a Matrix thing. While down, goes Avatar state and flies towards the other guy with wind behind him like people with air manipulation powers in comics. Be all bad arse but he wasn't.

As small a detail as it was, I think my favorite part of the episode was just hearing the voice actors they picked for grown-up Aang, Toph, and Sokka. All three were absolutely perfect.
