I think I've laughed so loud so hard at one point in most of these episodes. This episode, it was Meelo going to Lin's rescue.
My theory that it was Asami is out the window.
I got a new theory though. We saw the Aang take away a power last time, I think this Avatar will be able to give their bending abilities back. I think if Bolin or Mako lose their power, then my theory will be almost certain.
The ending to this episode was epic. I guess that's the great thing about having it revolved in such a small area that you can have loads of things come into it from afar. I wonder if this new Iroh person will be another love tangle for Korra for the next season.

If he can use his powers to turn benders into non-benders, why can't he turn non-benders into benders?

Be like giving the X-gene to normal people.

Be like giving the X-gene to normal people. I thought he might give airbending to the Earth Kingdom refugees who set up at the Northern Air Temple. But yeah, I get what you're saying. It would seem it's always easier to give powers back to the de-powered than to those who have never had powers.

My theory on General Iroh II is that it's Zuko's grandson through his daughter who took his place as firelord. The age range is about right and I can't think of another reason the voice would be so similar and his name would be Iroh.
It's not very complex theory, but it makes sense.

That's basically what I was thinking too. Being a direct blood descendent from Zuko sort of explains why his voice is exactly the same. I still really want to see Zuko himself make an appearance though. He was my favorite character from the original series.

I'm getting really pissed off by all the people telling me, "Stop making jokes and references about Avatar: The Last Airbender! I haven't seen it yet and you're spoiling it all for me!"
THE SHOW ENDED LIKE FIVE FRIKKEN YEARS AGO YOU MORONS. If I wasn't supposed to tell you that Zuko is the Blue Spirit and Aang finally gets Katara, then I guess I also shouldn't tell you that Darth Vader is Luke's father, Bruce Willis died at the beginning of 6th Sense, and Snape kills Dumbledore!
