Seems Mjolnir can really kick abstract rear these days. Yeah, Thor's been doing pretty well for himself with Mjolnir in tow these days, everyone from Galactus to Odin have been feeling it's strike. Now it looks like he has the Phoenix Force on the run from it. It's no wonder he is trashing his rogue list these days given what he's pulling off with that hammer. |

Has Thor gotten some kind of power boost lately? Nothing I've read yet. You have whatever portion of the Thorforce that he didn't use up, but that isn't likely going to give him any sort of edge(at least the writers aren't acknowledging it). Perhaps when he funneled most of it into Mjolnir, it gained an edge, but then again it was always intended to be a weapon for Odin to play with. He did call it to him when he hopped into the Destroyer and prepped to fight Galactus. |

Seems like all my books are AvX crossovers right now. It's a Journey into Mystery / Mighty Thor crossover dubbed "Everything Burns". Featuring the war between Aesir and Vanir, Surtur's hand in it and now that same craziness afoot in the world of Thor.  |

Just saw both short films....can't believe Wolverine put up a better fight than Thor did.
And on top of that Thor could only blast people with lightning, of course.

To be fair those films looked like they sported two differing versions of the Hulk - one eve lacking banner.
Back to non-film discussion:
Just read the first the first Thor: God of Thunder, old-man looks pretty boss with what looks like the Destroyer's arm in place of his, duel-wielding the Odinsword and Mjolnir has he leaps into an army of foes that knocked around his present day counterpart for a bit.Not to mention the whole Odin themed beard / eye patch. As depressing as it sounded, his narration where he dubs himself "the last of ALL the gods" to be incredibly fitting. If your going to make any god the last one, making it your premiere god seems neat.
