I've really never played SF. I'm not looking for a difficult fighting game to pick up either. But Street Fighter has always kind of appealed to me. If it's only $20something that's appealing as well. MvC3 looks like a lot of fun, and if it is easy to play, that's a plus. Another thing is that it has Marvel characters, which is great. I think it is still like $50 or something. Hmm, I may have to get both. If you bought and played MK than SF should be a piece of cake..the moves are just as easy to do unless you use Balrog,Bison,or Zangief because the have moves that require holding buttons for a time limit and full circles.

Well, from following SRK, NeoGaf, and all those other gaming sites, (SRK's the best), it's all but official that there's gonna be a new MvC3. Lupinko's been dropping hints as to what the changes are gonna be, and after going in circles, pullin' some crazy Scooby Doo meets Black Dynamite detective work, this dude named Master Chibi's been coming to the forums basically sayin', "you guys are way off, stop thinking so hard," and been droppin' hints to help decipher Lupinko's hints. So far we've deduced that it's very likely Phoenix Wright, Strider, and Red Arremer are gonna be in the next game, and that there's gonna be something added to the game in the way of a patch. People are hoping it's something to fix balance issues, nerfing X-Factor, and nerfing Wolverine. (Why people wanna nerf Wolvie is beyond me, because I personally find him perfect the way he is. ) It's heavily speculated that Thanos or Silver Surfer (related to a hint about something cosmic) and Bishop or Black Panther (related to some other hints) just might be in there too. Right now, the leakers are saying we'll get more information at Comic Con, nothing's been stated of the nature of what that information is, but it's fairly obvious it relates to Marvel 3. This has been your Marvel News Update. Thanks for tuning in, and hope to see you back, next time.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 trailer and the rest of the cast leaked www.metro.co.uk/tech/games/869925-all-12-ultimate-marvel-vs-capcom-3-fighters-revealed-phoenix-wright-nemesis-dr-strange-and-morethe new characters are: Capcom - Red Arremer Strider Phoenix Wright Nemesis Vergil Frank West Marvel - Ghost Rider Hawkeye Rocket Raccon Iron Fist Nova Dr. Strange can anyone tell me what the hell Vergil can do that Dante and Strider cant? Dante already has everything Vergil does in the whole DMC 3 and Strider's main form of attack is his sword....just like Vergil. I can see Hawkeye being relevant despite Taskmaster being there thanks to his trick arrows though.

Didn't the likes of Venom and Gambit receive the most Marvel votes in the official voting?

Nice, any idea how much that'll cost? it wont be a DLC (according to Capcom),so it will have to be disc-based. However, the price has been confirmed as 40 dollars, instead of the usual 60 dollars

Didn't the likes of Venom and Gambit receive the most Marvel votes in the official voting? Capcom is probaly going to release then as DLC later on to get even more money

$40 for what is essentially a DLC with some characters?
the word 'rip-off' doesn't adequately quantify my outrage.

Jesus, I'm happy MK9 has done individual DLC options instead of "PAY FOR ALL OR GET NONE!"

Keep in mind, even though my money is worth more than yours if Americans have to pay $40 then I have to pay $80.
Why yes, Japan is geographically closer.

$40 for what is essentially a DLC with some characters? the word 'rip-off' doesn't adequately quantify my outrage. well,to be fair,it also comes with new stages,re-balance,new moves for the characters,a better online and spectator mode (wich Capcom said was ''impossible'' 1 week after releasing the game ) but i feel you and ,despite loving Phoenix Wright,i am not buying it....wonder if those that bought the Collector's Edtion or Shumma Gorath and Jill will get some type of bonus....

To be totally honest, if you can majorly revamp the game itself, add 12 new characters and improve the online component then heres what you should have done:
Release the game with those improvements to begin with.
Seriously, what they're doing is charging $100 (in my case, likely $180) for one game. That's horsesh#t. Any developer worth their salt will tell you that taking an extra 6 months to make sure a game is made properly is better than releasing something you know to be flawed. If these improvements are great enough to warrant $40 then they were large enough to warrant extra development time. MvC2 was released with far more characters than MvC3, they originally said they didn't have enough time to add as many this time around. The real reason is they wanted to sell you the rest later.

Capcom - Red Arremer - Never heard of him. Strider - Will literally be a clone of his MvC2 self. Phoenix Wright - Will probably play the same as Viewtiful Joe. Nemesis - Will be a reskin of Chris. Vergil - Will be a reskin (already is) of Dante. Frank West - Never heard of.
Marvel - Ghost Rider - Will probably play roughly the same Omega Red in MvC2. Hawkeye - Will be Taskmaster without the sword attacks. Rocket Raccon - Will be Marvel's Viewtiful Joe. Iron Fist - Might actually be interesting. Probably play just like Wolverine but with Chi strikes instead of Claws. Nova - Will be an Iron Man clone. Dr. Strange - Will be a Dormammu clone.

We have a game with all the above ''issues'' fixed with apparentely no problem,it is clear Capcom wanted to release a half-assed game only to re-sell it later. Not to mention the top most request characters (Venom and Megaman) appear to be missing....anyone doubts they are already done and Capcom is going to sell then for 5 dollars each later? I have no doubts that this game will be a major upgrade from the regular version, but they are milking the game and i refuse to buy that version unless it comes as a DLC And thats
