I'm officially done with this game.I don't see any point to play it anymore.I don't play online so I basically just have this game now that I can't so anything with.I can only trash Galactus so many times before it doesn't matter anymore.I wanted to get good with She-Hulk,Trish,and X-23 and I did so that pretty much ends that.Would have loved it if there were some unlockables that weren't worthless on this game.Capcom has seemingly become money hungry.

Aaaaaaaaaannny way, I definitely understand all the rage surrounding Capcom. Trust me, I really, and truly do. I definitely see how there's a lotta hate fumin' around for paying for a sixty dollar beta, spending 15 more dollars on addons to the beta and then being expected to buy the full game for forty more. Totally justifiable, totally relevant, and the fans should really protest the mess outta this. Not to mention the whole Megaman Legends 3 being canned. Either that game musta really sucked, or Capcom's tired of Megaman, but either way, it's a complete middle finger to the people investing in your company.
That said, I'm still supremely hyped up about this game. Rocky, Nova, Strange, Ghost Rider...there's not a single character in the new roster that I dislike. In fact, I like every last one of the choices. Best roster ever. I'm forkin' over 40 dollars. I'm halfway considering to pre-order because I really want that Elvis MODOK or that mohawk Storm. Stuff is just too good.
I should be outraged, I should be venting, but I'm physically and mentally unable to do that, because I'm too hype about this game. I blame Lupinko and his riddles. It was fun messin' with that.
I've been playin' vanilla Marvel 3 since day 1, and can honestly say not a lick of the 50 dollars I spent on that thing went to waste, because I've been enjoying it, and this new Ultimate is just too cool to pass up on. It's real bad when you know you're gettin' screwed over, but like it so much that you ask for more, and I really, really want more. Capcom can take all my money, and I'll be okay with it so long as I get this game.

MVC3 is a solid fighting game.I'm not so much disaapointed because of how much I payed for it but because the fans have been begging Capcom for this for like 10 years right? And then it comes out and the roster is diminished and you barely unlock anything.That's half the reason people wanted it. |

Despite feeling like a fool for buying the first version of a Capcom fighting game, I can't help but feel excited about the new characters being introduced. It's frustrating. Capcom has really been money whoring it lately but every time they add just enough to not make me rage at them.
Except for Arcade Edition, that was bullshit.
And speaking of MK, Netherrealms isn't exactly scoring top marks either. That costume/character patch fuckup with the online sounds ridiculous, I've seen a lot of complaints concerning balance and the patching, and they aren't exactly, uh, supporting the tournament scene (which was one of their stated goals with MK9). I feel like fighting game companies lately are getting sloppy, but their games always end up being pretty great anyways. It's kind of baffling.

Yeah, exactly. What you got was a beta. Ten years in the making, and everything was halfway finished. Diminished roster, major bugs, like 4 stages. I haven't even been a fan for as long, and I could see a lot of why it was disappointing, and like I said, I shoulda been disappointed too, at least because of the cost of it all. I was sorta upset that the preview trailers set up this huge story like thing, but nothing even hinted towards a story in the game. Just two pictures per character. I liked all that, and they tried to give it more of a single player mode with those crazy arcade events, but even still, it's all undone. It was definitely fun for what it was, but it shoulda been so much more. I understand that, and I really, should be more upset about it because of it, but I can't bring myself to be upset for me or anyone else because I enjoy playing it too much.
