Lolll more Slayback. That guy was a beast in...I think Deadpool's first mini? Yes sir. It just spoke of his history with Deadpool and then quickly killed him off as he was dominating Wade, lol. I'd love for a backstory, but there's no way that's going to happen.

Hahaha yeah, no. Speaking of Deadpool F-list villains...did he ever kill T-Ray? I've only gotten through Kelly's run and a few others in that series (I realize I just said that whole ongoing was great but I failed to mention I just read Kelly's run and heard good things about the rest).

Anybody expect DP 32.1 to be any good? Hope it really is a good starting point I'v really never read Deadpool I honestly haven't been that impressed with either of the point-one books I've picked up so far (Invincible Iron Man and Amazing Spider Man), but they would be good "jumping-on points" if you were new to a title. I've read Way's entire run on Deadpool and I think some of the arcs / issues are really good and then some other times I finish a book and say "I just spent $2.99 for THAT?" All in all, it's a decent book though and I get some good laughs out of it. I'm not a Deadpool fanboy or anything, I just like that the book has a really different tone that a lot of what I read.

A lot of good points and a very well structured commentary. Uncanny X-Force has been great so far and I'm enjoying Deadpool's presence. I think it gives him some legit credibility and the tone of that book is so much different from what I'm used to seeing him in. I enjoy the Way title and I thought "Suicide Kings" was really good a few years back, but "Merc With A Mouth" and "Deadpool MAX" (which I dropped last month) left A LOT to be desired.

I think Marvel got greedy with Deadpool and tried to cash in too much. I'd love to see some redemption to his on-going and Rick R continue to do a pretty good job with him in Uncanny. Aside from that, he's not needed elsewhere.
Norcal, I agree Suicide Kings (by Benson) was awesome, but I strongly dislike Daniel Way's take on Deadpool. I can't help but feel like he's turned the guy into a clown with a healing factor.

I think Marvel got greedy with Deadpool and tried to cash in too much. There has definitely been some over-saturation going on, it's gotten almost as bad (maybe worse?) than Wolverine in that regard. .......I strongly dislike Daniel Way's take on Deadpool. I can't help but feel like he's turned the guy into a clown with a healing factor. Looking at what Way has been doing in DP against what Remender is doing now in UXF I would tend to agree with that. Admittedly I had zero knowledge about Deadpool before #1 in Way's run though. Because of that, I didn't really have any preconceived notions about what his character should be like or had been previously. I enjoy Way's take on Deadpool mainly as comedic relief and a change of pace from the other books on my pull-list.

If you're ever looking to read some good back stories with him, let me know and I'll recommend some stuff.
