It has a plethora of characters I enjoy, so it will have to be very bad for me to be greatly disappointed with it. And your Cable/DP recommendation was spot-on, I think I can afford cutting you some slack even if it doesn't live up to such high standards.
Excellent. There's some good banter with Wade/Murdock/Parker to look forward to, IIRC.

Just trying to gauge something about DP, i dont think it needs a full thread so I'll post it here:
Which incarnation of Deadpool do you consider to be at his peak, combat wise ?
Personally I would consider the Weapon X modified DP, since they further modified his healing, seemingly increased his physical prowess and this is a Pre-Way DP so skill wise he was at the very least decent .
I would like to know your guys thoughts on this.

Weapon X modified as in the arc in 'Deadpool' where he fights adamantium Creed twice? I think so, iirc they boosted his healing factor in that arc, and there is a statement about his body parts growing back stronger or something along those lines. Its the one where he regenerates from well basically a sludge, i remember Sabretooth being in it but im unsure if DP fought him. |

I think he demonstrated the best skill during his earlier stuff (New Mutants first appearance-first two runs-X-Force-some Kelly stuff). He was alright in Cable and Deadpool, and after that just went downhill.

I think he demonstrated the best skill during his earlier stuff (New Mutants first appearance-first two runs-X-Force-some Kelly stuff). He was alright in Cable and Deadpool, and after that just went downhill. True, I would say that skill wise his first incarnation was probably the best but I recon this one should have the advantage physically. |
