I would participate in bum fights to raise cash if necessary.

With the kind of money being spent in development(A LOT OF MONEY) I would have been shocked I'd be pretty shocked to have the game not have that monthly fee.
Edited because I exaggerated.

Any game worth it's salt in the MMO market is subscription based. I have no idea where people get the notion that they won't have to pay for a quality game. Think of it this way: you buy a single player game for $60 and finish it in a week. Is $15 really too much for a month's worth of entertainment?

Heck Warcraft if I recall was like 60 million to make, that was without PVP, Raids, etc. Without the subscription I'm not sure they'd make their money back. Thats not even considering later content they will be slapping on. Still debating if I want to give myself to the MMO devil once again, but this does look like a solid title and I know a friend that is pumped to play it.

It is when you have other bills that come first and some people would rather just find a different game that will still satisfy them enough. But it is star wars some people mite make a exception.

@ck hey, I've been a student for 4 years. I understand. I'm just saying, if you throw down your cash for one game, make it that the one that'll provide the most lasting entertainment.

The trailers have all looked good. Despite the fact that it is an MMO - which I have a strong distaste for - my hate is slowly melting away. Still, I won't give the novels the time of day (outside of the Revan novel, which I would be remiss if I passed up)

Why do you dislike MMOs?

I love MMOs. They are different from other games in that they are like another life.

Lol if only my ancient puter could handle it. It would be like trying to put 10 gallons of water in a 1 gallon jug. My computer would have a heart attack and then have a shit.

Or buy a new computer and come swing lightsabers Hell yeah that is an option. A new computer is first on my to-get list.

I would truly like nothing more than to engage in epic space battles with an all-star line up of Ledger bros/ladies.
