I would like to make a list that confirms which mutants are Omega mutants. Here is where people can list the characters, but to make the list, issue references must be given where it states they are Omegas. Some have multiple issue references, extra points to those that bring those to attention.
Also, I would like a list of those that have not been mentioned but SHOULD realistically be considered for the title.
Omega list: Elixir - New X-Men - Academy X issue 01, X-Men: 198 Files
Franklin Richards - X-Men: 198 Files
Hope Summers - X-Men Phoenix Handbook
Iceman - X-Men: 198 Files, X-Men Forever V1 issue 03
Jean Grey - Phoenix Endsong, X-Men Forever V1 issue 03
Legion - New Mutants V3 issues 04,05
Mr. M - X-Men: 198 Files
Nate Grey - Dark X-Men issues 01, 02
Quentin Quire - Phoenix Endsong, X-Men: 198 Files
Rachel Grey - Uncanny X-Men issue 208
Vulcan - Guardians of the Galaxy V2 issue 14
Honorable Mentions list: Alpha - The Ultimate Mutant
Cable
Isolationist
Mad Jim Jaspers
Magneto
Proteus
Scarlet Witch
Stryfe
Alternate Earths Honorable Mentions list Hyperstorm - Earth - 967

Mad Jim Jaspers has never been confirmed, but he deserves it far more than most that are already as such.
Nate Grey was confirmed as an Omega multiple times in Dark X-Men # 1-2, off memory.

Joshua Foley, Omega-class healing ability. Stated in, New X-Men - Academy X #1 on Cyclops' computer. But they jump between potential Omega class to Omega class. The creator of Elixir wrote, New X-Men - Academy X #1. So it makes me believe that he wanted him to be an Omega level. Therefore am more inclined to believe he is an Omega level.

Mr. M - Complete molecular control over anything around him. Can manipulate the molecules of air to create nuclear explosions if he so wished. Can shut off the mutant gene at will. Never confirmed to my recollection, but he deserves it.
Fairly sure Legion has been confirmed.

I don't believe M was ever confirmed, but he deserves the mention. I believe Legion was confirmed by the X-Club in New Mutants 5.

Just checked New Mutants 5. You are absolutely right. Legion is mentioned as an Omega several times in that issue. Also in issue 4.

Do we have issue # for Jean and Iceman? They are arguably the most recognisable Omegas, and yet I never read the issues in which they were confirmed as such.
By the way, the Phoenix Force Handbook verifies Hope as an Omega.

By the way, the Phoenix Force Handbook verifies Hope as an Omega. I have been pouring over X-Men issues right now to confirm it. There is one example I am trying to remember. It was on Xavier's computer where he listed Iceman as an Omega and I want to say Jean as well but I cannot remember. My gut tells me it was about the time of Onslaught but finding it has been a bitch. Confirmed the handbook for Hope and confirmed Rachel Grey from waaaaaay back in Uncanny 208 as stated by Nimrod himself several times.

Cool. And I remember those Nimrod issues, I had fun reading them back in the day.
I vaguely recall Quentin Quire being comfirmed during Endsong.

Happy to check Endsong to confirm. You know it is one of my fav X-Men arcs.

Anyone got a reference on Vulcan? Someone said it was in Uncanny 483, but I flipped through that issue twice and unless I just kept missing it as a skimmed over it, it is not there.
